History

Established in 2000.

Owner, Naomi Smith graduated with an Art Degree in 1998 and did freelance art work on Windows, Murals, Graphic Designs and Exhibit Trade Show graphics and signage. In 2000 she took on a year long project for Portland Habilitation Center creating an album set outline and displaying thier history since 1947, this project was the inception of Time Honored Designs. She transitioned into face and body art when the project was completed and kept the name of the business because to honored the time we spend with each and every client.

In 2006, she was one of four internationally chosen to compete for International Body artist of the year and did come home with a trophy, since then her studio walls became filled with awards in different international competitions. Much of her body art has been published and exhibited in art galleries in Portland and Vancouver.

Time Honored Designs has also expanded to a crew of over six wonderful artists with five full airbrush systems.

Business Owner

Naomi Smith is the owner and lead artist of Time Honored Designs. She has always been involved in the arts and has an art degree. Prior to face and body art, she painted many large wall murals, windows, signs, worked on large three dimensional graphics, designed logos and advertisements. She also created a historical album set for Portland Habilitation Center in 2000 – 2001 out lining and displaying their history since 1943. Thus the name for her current business, «Time Honored Designs».

She has devoted her talents to her face and body art business which was established in 2000 and has become well known in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington areas for the best face and body art entertainment in the area. Time Honored Designs is sought out by many upstanding organizations such as: Portland Timbers, Portland Thorns, Radio Disney, Pacific Talent, Portland International Auto Show, The Rose Festival and more.
