History

Established in 2009.

When the economy took a dive back in 2008, we had so many friends who lost jobs with no way to create income. We opened as a way for people to not only generate an alternate cash flow, but also so consumers could get good quality items for less money. We try to encourage consignors to keep their prices at about 30% of retail. Most are willing to help the community and keep prices low!

Many updates for this place, big inventory and really fair prices. They have been updating and revamping several areas in the store. Always a preference for me to be able to shop locally and support neighbors instead of corporate giants. The owner has been in business ten years, they are adding a «man cave» area I can hardly wait to see.

I love the Treasure Trove! Every time I go there I find the best hidden gems, for ridiculously low prices. I can’t even go to Goodwill anymore because I am so spoiled by this place. I have been shopping there and consigning items there for about 5 years now, and have never had a bad experience. Every time I go in I have some money on my account to use towards my shopping, which is nice since I inevitably always find several items I love. The staff could not be sweeter or more friendly and helpful. They even offer to carry your items out to your car for you. It is my favorite store in Vancouver. Love it!

This is one of the best consignment shops in the area! Their customer service is awesome and I would definitely recommend that you shop at this store!
I have sold a couple of items at this consignment shop and they offered me a very fair price and the items sold quickly. I have also purchased several items here and I was impressed with the high quality of the items in stock.
The staff are very helpful and friendly too!

I have been in here twice now and this store does have a lot of nice things but most of the pricing is a bit too high for my pocketbook. I see other reviewers commenting on the clothing but in my opinion, there isn’t much clothing displayed at all. The main focus seems to be furniture, household goods and home décor. Since the whole store is consignment, I am not sure how the items are priced. I was shocked at how high some prices were when other items seemed to be reasonably priced. They do have some very nice things, but I also found it odd that they did not have a lot of Christmas items displayed when I went in a week or two before Christmas.
I might go back when I stop at Bi-​Mart and take a look around, but I will not go out of my way to shop here. I think I am better off at one of the many thrift stores in town.
