Tara is amazing! Her photos have never disappointed. She is flexible with her schedule and always professional. If you are looking for children’s photos she has incredible patience. I took my 5 day old baby & toddler in and the pictures are priceless!

We contacted Tara to get some newborn pictures of our baby girl, just as she was almost out of the «newborn» window. Tara was so sweet and was able to squeeze us in to get those priceless shots. She was so incredibly patient and professional, and the pictures she captured are simply beautiful.

Tara is great! She loves what she does and works very hard for her clients. She is an artist and thinks outside of the box. The way she edits is unique, which is nice and refreshing. There are some many photographers out there and the all seem generic and the same. If you want to be different, work with someone that thinks differently. Thanks Tara!

Tara has done many photos for our family. 6 months photos of our son, a cake smash for his first birthday, newborn photos of our 2^nd son and several head shots of our daughters. My favorite so far is, She attended the adoption of our oldest daughter and took photos of the day our family became complete. Her work always amazes me. You can see how dedicated and particular she is. She has the perfect eye for the perfect shot, she’s patient, and never rushes. She is WONDERFUL with kids as well. Tara is more then a photographer, she is a friend to all she meets. She is passionate about what she does and who she works with and it can be seen in all her work and the different life events she has captured for people. Once you meet her you’ll never forget her. I could honestly go on and on. You won’t regret Tara Thackeray Photography even a little!

We hired Tara for a rather delicate event: Recording the wake of a family member we lost in a car accident, only 26 years old. I knew it wasn’t her typical thing but after talking about it she was willing to go along: We wanted a celebration of his life more than a funeral.
Tara was amazing. Not only hundreds of photos, but she really seemed like she belonged there. Blended right in, some people even thought she was a relative. Connor is well & truly missed, but got an excellent send off.

Tara did our engagement photos which were fantastic. She even worked with our stubborn dogs and got some amazing photos with them. Just this past weekend she photographed my wedding. I have not received the pictures back yet, but I have no doubt they will be fantastic. I am mostly writing this review though to thank her for the amazing job she did to actually help coordinate my wedding. Needless to say, as all weddings go. Things did not exactly go according to plan. I was beyond impressed at Tara’s leadership and planning skills. She immediately took initiative to get with my coordinator to make sure she was able to get all of the pictures we needed, and also make sure I was not stressed on my big day! Tara, I cannot thank you enough. You not only are an amazing photographer, you are just an amazing person in general! Thank you for everything!

Tara is wonderfully talented! There truly is something to be said about professional photography! Tara brings talent, professionalism, and passion to her work. I highly recommend her!!!
