We make the most amazing ice cream creations from our freshly made vanilla or chocolate frozen custard! From simple scoops in cups or cones (no we don’t charge extra for waffle cones, seriously!) to sundaes to shakes/​malts to our specialty concretes (frozen custard mixed with anything you can imagine & eaten with a spoon) to our custom made pies… there is not a better frozen treat to be had!

We have every size from FREE kid or puppy cones to «doing some damage» LARGE to take home pints & quarts… it’s up to you to decide how big your craving is. Walk up to our covered patio for a nostalgic visit or keep talking on your cellphone in our drive-​thru lane, either way just show up.

Established in 2004.

We piled the kids in the minivan & trekked across the country from Kansas to land in the frozen custard deprived Northwest & now we know why you kept the place such a secret! We are an independent, locally owned part of a small franchise committed to educating the locals about this thing we call custard… and not your Grandma’s yellow stuff in cups she baked for all your special events, either! This is a premium, unbelievably smooth, delightful dance on your tongue type of ice cream… but if you EVER call it anything but «frozen custard» we may not serve you!

I love how creamy the custard is. I am addicted to the chocolate custard and cant seem to try any other flavors when I go. I really enjoy the specials they offer and that you can get any treat in a mini size.

By far the best treat I’ve had in a while. Stopped in based on recommendations as I was traveling in the are for a few days. Went out to the pick up window but no one was there so decided what I wanted and went through the drive-​thru.
Friendly, quick service. Tried the Mocha Almond Concrete and it was delicious. Very creamy and smooth, nice chocolate flavor. The large was a little much so I’d get the small if I visit again.
Check it out if you’re in Vancouver … It won’t disappoint

Super delicious. I ordered the red velvet slam and it was very good. The order took like two minutes to make, it was almost instant. The only thing that’s rinks is that it’s not in Portland, and also that there in no indoor seating so it’s tough to go there in the winter!

Came here tonight for the first time and got the Mocha Almond & the Chocolate Voodoo; HANDS DOWN best ice cream/​custard I’ve ever had!

So flippin’ good.
I can’t even describe to you how delicious. So rich and creamy.
The pretzel one is the best. The dirt and worms is a classic. I also had a few bites of the seasonal apple pie one a few months ago and it was so satisfying.
It is a little pricey but it is so so very worth it.
(And they have punch cards!)

Wow! So delicious. One of the best desserts out there. Much better then the normal soft serve ice cream that is out there. The custard has a very rich and creamy texture. My favorite is the Royal Turtle that adds in candied pecans and fudge plus caramel.

I prefer frozen custard to soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt 1000x over. Sheridan’s custard is totally worth the trek across the state line from Portland. The vanilla custard is just fantastic. It is fine plain, or with any number of toppings. The chocolate custard is also tasty, but not as good as the vanilla. There are a trillion options like sundaes and shakes, etc, but the custard really does speak for itself. Service is quick and friendly, and there is a punch card for earning free custard. Parking is ample, and there is bench seating perfect for warm summer nights. The prices are a bit on the high side, but then again, where can you find this kind of custard around here?!

The serves is just fine but that flavor is amazing!!! I always get plain chocolate in a cup nothing else. Because it’s so good! But recently I tried concert with banana and I couldn’t believe how amazing it was. I’m a sucker for any one who can combined those flavors well I think most other places tend to have banana over power the mix. Or it doesn’t taste like either but here they nailed it. Probably because that Chocolate custard base is so amazing!!! The vanilla is on point as well. Creamy cold and deliciousness! I defiantly definitely recommend it!

I read about this place in a magazine, rated as one of the best ‘ice cream’ joints. Something about them being on the east coast but I google anyway and low and behold. there is one on Mill Plain in Vancouver. Yeah, it’s a long drive from PDX west hills for ice cream but let me say. their strawberry shortcake sundae is wonnnderful. Their homemade shortcake biscuit, strawberries, dip of their frozen yogurt (which is great) and whipped cream.

I have never had frozen custard before so I was very eager to try. The girls working there were very polite with good service.
The taste was good, more thicker then frozen yogurt but software then ice cream. It melts pretty fast too. We order a cup topped with strawberry and chocolate, on the menu it states fresh, but it seems frozen to me. We enjoyed it. For a small cup, it was 6.55 with tax. It is a bit expensive.

Regardless if the weather is cold or rainy … or colder and rainier … I can’t resist smooth, rich, and dreamy Frozen Custard.
On a recent cold night when the temperatures dipped below freezing, I found myself wanting an even colder dessert because, like Elsa, the cold never bothered me anyway. Well, ok, it bothered me a little while standing in the wind at Sheridan’s Frozen Custard walk-​up window trying to decide what to order. So, of course, I did what any sane person would do … I got back in my car and went through the drive-​thru.
Whoever, invented drive-​thru frozen custard deserves a raise.
I went with a «Create Your Own Concrete for $ 5.39 with Vanilla Custard blended with toppings. The first topping is free and then additional toppings are $ 0.95 each. Cool toppings for my concrete on this cold day were Chocolate Syrup, Peanut Butter, and Peanut Butter Cups. It was frozen magic that would of even impressed Olaf and Kristoff.

Hmm. I do have a sweet tooth, but their custard is too sweet, especially the grasshopper. And I am pretty sure they over charged me for my mocha almond concrete. The texture and taste seemed more like icy frozen yogurt than smooth thick custard. I did like the fact they had honey roasted almonds.

Sheridan’s holds the distinction of being the ONLY eatery we’ve visited three nights in a row. Sheridan’s custard is simply superb. Sikly-​smooth texture, brilliant flavor, and a huge selection of menu items all add up to an excellent experience. House-​made waffle cones are super crispy and flavorful, too.
There is no dining room: you order from the window, and grab one of the three outside benches if they’re not already occupied. Alternately, you can go back to your car and eat it there. While a dining room would be great, the quality of the custard is good enough that you won’t mind eating it in the car.
