Established in 1998.

The Shawn Vorrath Insurance Agency representing State Farm has been located at the corner of 63^rd st and Andresen Road since 1999. State Farm is most widely known for it’s Auto, Home and Life Insurance products but also offers more than 120 different insurance and financial services for your personal and small business needs. We are well regarded for our superior customer service which extends to being open by appointment (and the Agent being available for urgent issues) after normal business hours so please ask us to accommodate your schedule.

While I am a native of the Pacific Northwest, I primarily grew up in Puerto Rico and Germany on Air Force and Army bases as the daughter of parents who were educators for the Department of Defense School Systems. After spending most of my high school years in West Berlin, I graduated from Bitburg American High School. I returned to Oregon to attend Linn Benton Community College and Oregon State University, attaining an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology and then a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. I used my experience working at Wilson Motors, a Ford and Chrysler dealership, along with my Finance degree to gain a position as a Auto Claims Representative for State Farm in the early ‘90s. About 6 years later I was doubly fortunate: I met my current partner and was also given an opportunity to open a State Farm Agency in the Vancouver area. 15+ years later I am lucky enough to be able to say both are still going concerns!
