We offer a variety of ways for those interested in indoor soccer to get involved, including adult and youth leagues, Open Play, youth developmental programs, tournaments, camps, and arena rentals.

History

Established in 2000.

Salmon Creek Indoor Sports Arena first opened its doors in 2000 and quickly became a well-​known indoor facility within the soccer community and in the Portland-​metro area.

The idea of bringing indoor soccer to Vancouver began when one of the owner’s son’s outdoor team made the state soccer semifinals, and had to play on field-​turf. At that time, none of the players or even the coaches had played on field-​turf. They didn’t have a place they could practice to gain the feel of the playing surface before the game. Unable to find a suitable local location to practice before the big game, the two coaches saw an opportunity to bring the fun and excitement of indoor soccer to Vancouver, which led them to open Salmon Creek Indoor Sports Arena.

Glen saw the need for an indoor soccer facility that had high-​quality field-​turf fields after coaching his son’s soccer team.

His son’s team had to play a state semifinals game on field-​turf and no one on the team had ever played on field-​turf and weren’t used to the new surface. Glen decided to open an indoor facility to give soccer teams in the area a place to play on field-​turf. This lead to the creation of Salmon Creek Indoor Sports Arena. Now, the sports arena is home to youth and adult leagues, Open Play, tournaments, camps, and so much more.
