Prairie View Apartments on NE99th Street in Vancouver is by far one of the worst places I have ever lived. 1) This is very cheaply built tenement housing, so you can hear absolutely everything from all sides. 2) Most of the tenants are lowlife breeders with screaming kids who terrorize the entire apartment complex with skateboards and scooters. 3) Upstairs neighbors sound like a 7.0 earthquake all day and all night. 4) The residents are able to smoke anywhere they like and cigarette butts can be found wherever you walk. 5) Garbage and poop are everywhere. 6) The carpets and walls smell like mold, urine and rotting fruit. 7) The water pipes are in the walls so flushing and draining can be heard going down through the walls on a regular basis from the upstairs units. 7) Repairs are not made in a timely manner and are often not done correctly. 8) There is no recourse for tenants making complaints about rude and inconsiderate neighbors. 9) Management are basically liars who do not tell the truth about the living conditions. It is unbelievable that management does not enforce any of the rules here even though the lease contract is about a hundred pages long. Filthy, horrible place. If you can avoid it, do not move here!
