It makes me sad to even write this review, but I have to say that I’m disheartened by the results, as well as the time and money spent doing treatments. I have the ideal complexion and hair color (fair skin, brown hair) for laser hair removal to work, but sadly, my hair has grown back. I went to treatments every 4 – 6 weeks for an entire year, 3 months longer than initially quoted, then I stopped because of the money I was putting into it. I paid $ 3,400 for my face, legs, and brazilian. All of the hair has grown back and it hasn’t even been a year since my last treatment. I chose to do this because shaving irritated my skin and I would constantly get folliculitis. I’m back to square one and $ 3,400 is gone. I think laser hair removal is a fluke. There is a Tria personal laser hair removal gadget, that is only around $ 450, so if you’re considering laser hair removal, I would just go for that and save yourself thousands of dollars and potentially no results. The salon was very nice and professional, but the results were not good. I’m skeptical if the good reviews were just made up, because I can’t be the only person that this didn’t work for…

Since laser hair removal can be a delicate topic, I wanted to post here what I found. Hopefully, it will inform and save someone time and agony in decision-​making.
I have to say — I am impressed. Laser treatment has come so far and Erica has stayed on top. She is afforable, excellent in communication and her customer service is beyond wonderful. What tops it off is her kind and caring nature. Also, her staff is professional, polite, and well above average in skills and intelligence. You won’t be getting ‘minimum wage lackeys’ here. NW Laser chooses people who go above and beyond.
This is a woman-​owned business with honorable mention in the state of Washington. I thought the «wall of plaques» was a bit ostentatious at first — until I read them and for YEARS running, she has led the field in excellence. I also saw that got to know the staff. Every bit on the walls is true — NW Laser leads the field in excellence safety, customer service, and while there wasn’t a plaque for kindness, there should be.
Erica knows her business and has been doing this for 18 years. She owns her own equipment and is a licensed medical professional and laser technologist. She is skilled in every aspect of care her company provides.
From the first moment I called them, I was treated with respect, dignity, and no pressure. I was not ‘nickel and dimed’ for the curve of my face or the services I sought. Erica was honest about what prices would be and why. She doesn’t seek to unnecessarily gouge the client, she has been a recipient of laser treatment herself and is an advocate for the safety and respect of her clients.
I went for a free consult and became a client. She is so far above the other laser providers, it’s not funny. Personally, I would rather give my money to a local, woman-​owned business than a large chain or multi-​site business.

In 2012, Erica passed away. The business was bought by a Russian doctor and plastic surgeon. Very nice, professional, and helpful. I’ve not sought services with them beyond continuing laser hair removal.
