Don’t judge this restaurant by its décor… the food and friendly service are awesome.

Had a late breakfast here today. The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The service was friendly, the place clean and neat. The hash browns and«home fries» were from a box, not homemade. The coffee was weak and flavorless. The bottom line is that there are other choices in the area that do a bit better for the same money.

Went here based on the Unilocal reviews… epic fail. The place was clean and staff was friendly but the food was«meh.» The wife got a burger and she only took a few bites saying McDonald’s would’ve been better but said her side salad was very fresh and crisp. I got the club and it was good but not worthy of five stars and French fries were obviously previously frozen and unseasoned.

We saw this in a Columbian news paper post. I had the pasta and my wife has the chicken fried steak. Large portions, great food and very friendly service. We will be coming back.

Clean, friendly place for breakfast for a good price. Good, simple diner menu. I had the steak and eggs; it was good sized, well seasoned, and wonderfully cooked. My wife had the 4-item breakfast, it was good too. We will definitely be back.

Great family style restaurant that cooks with little to no grease. Very fresh ingredients served hot. Attentive waitress and the trained professional chef likes to chat and asks about the food. Surprise, a restaurant that is interested in customer feedback. Tasty omelets. Good soups, don’t miss the Friday clam chowder, real razor clams and lots of them good flavor with clam nectar. Our favorite, the Saturday night shrimp tacos, so good and fresh. Try the green chile sauce for real fire, red for the more reserved. Quiet eating without little road noise. A place where family can talk and enjoy a meal plus won’t break the bank. Locally owned and operated so the money stays in our community. Our favorite go to place in the Hazel Dell area for food now.

Wonderful little place to go when you’re hungry. The omelets were stuffed full of ingredients and everything was very fresh. The service was fantastic and very friendly. Cannot wait to come back again!

Very nice little diner. Traditional menu, good prices, clean, friendly service. The bacon was very good and my husband loved the chicken fried steak. The coffee was a step up and served in a large pot left at the table. The only trick is finding it. As you go north on Hwy 99 go past the Carl’s Jr and turn left onto the next driveway to a strip mall. It is worth the search.

I like the fact that this is a local business, owned and run by local individuals who are warm and friendly. The breakfast was good, cooked nicely. It was typical American food. The ambience, tucked away in a small strip mall, however, leaves a lot to be desired.

Delicious and bright and cheerful. We came here for breakfast. I’d definitely recommend finding this little unassuming family restaurant and trying them out. :D

The«place» has been open 8 months now. The full menu is offered all day, well at least it was when we stopped in for dinner. :D We had the clubhouse sammie that was literally packed with ham and turkey. Literally. The fried chicken salad and mega skillet that came with pancakes. O. M. G. The pancakes! I’m not a big pancake eater, but I helped eat half of it. and the pancakes weren’t even mine! Lol! As full as we were, had to try the fried pie. They have several fruit flavors and we got apple. Fried crust dusted with cinnamon, apple filling topped with whipped cream. Pretty good. Service was really attentive by the owners. Definitely a must try and repeat visits.

A HIDDENTREASUREINHAZELDELL My wife and I came here for the first time today but it won’t be our last. The portions were generous, the flavor fantastic and the owners were warm and friendly. This place is tucked away off of Hwy99 not far from the movie theater so it’s a great place pre-show snack. The most notable thing about this place is the ambiance of a neighborhood café. Though they have been in business a short while, 6 ½ months, it has the feel a well established local food stop. We give it 5 stars.

Three of us stopped in for brunch on the road — given the high rating I thought it would be the best breakfast ever. My omelet was good and large but nothing special. The potatoes were standard food service potatoes. My bud’s dishes were similar — decent but nothing special. Service was good, venue was clean but kinda odd and didn’t feel very much like a restaurant. Decent enough but not worthy of a 4.5 star average.

I’ve been here a few times now and this place is pretty OK. It appears to be a family run local restaurant. I always like to support local businesses. I tried the club sandwich with fries. Didn’t think it was all that great. Next time I decided on breakfast and got pancakes. These pancakes were obviously homemade and very delicious. Every other time that I’ve been here, I’ve had to get those awesome pancakes! These pancakes are money! Straight up gold! Pancakes with a side of bacon! Yum! I’ve also heard that the owner’s mother comes in on the weekends to make homemade tortillas for the weekend taco rush. I will have to try those sometime. I’ve had homemade tortillas twice and those things are very very tasty.

The best chicken breast sandwich & strawberry lemonade ever. Great costumer service. I wish they had street tacos every day.

MUSTGO. This place is all around great! Great food, great service, and great prices. We’ve been here twice now and both times we left very pleased. The cook clearly loves what he does. During both of our visits he came out to greet us with a smile on his face and also during both of our visits he made it a point to come out and ask how our food was! We will definitely be back and we will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

The wife and I came into nayhelys place today for lunch and was definitely happy with our waitress. She greeted us promptly and brought us our menus. She was very informative and suggested we try their nayhelys club sandwich. It comes with your choice of fries or soup. My wife got the soup and it was a great decision. She got the clam chowder. And the chef came out from the kitchen and explained to us that he makes his soups fresh daily and my wife says its the best clam chowder hands down. Then the chef brought out a sample of the lentil soup to us as well and omg how delicious and flavorful it was. The club sandwiches were very delicious and I would recommend this place to everyone who likes fresh great tasting food. Can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast soon. Yummmmm
