Purchased an expensive heat pump from them. Decent experience during the install. Fast forward nine years later the motor dies and warranty is void since we missed annual service. If you are buying equipment from them plan on $ 139 per visit times the ten years to keep parts warranty valid. Old furnace worked for 30+ years before needing updated…

I will recommend this company to everyone that needs this type of service. We needed a new furnace and air conditioner as ours stopped functioning. We now have a system that functions better while using less energy.
Everyone from the salesman to the installers have been excellent. They have been pleasant, professional, punctual, and very willing to answer all of our questions.
I was impressed with their work as well as not leaving a mess upon completion. They removed all debris before leaving. They were also careful not to track material into the house.
Enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Just wanted to thank Chris and his helper, from millers ac and heating for the wonderful job they did on repairs for my ac. I had them install my heat pump, about 8 years Ago recently my ac was not working Chris and his associate, came out to inspect they found that it had a major leak but what I wasn’t inspecting was what Chris found, he had said that the ac wasn’t installed correctly, so he talked to his employer about it. Chris and his great helper then came back out and redid the install, although I paid for the ac repair they fixed the rest for no cost to me, thank you Chris and his helper and all who was involved I have regained total faith in this company. My wife and I decided to research new HVAC equipment due to concerns with CO and CO2 leakage into our home. After several visits from other contractors, we met Chris from Miller’s. He investigated the depths of our existing furnace, he tracked airflow and reviewed our goals. He went above and beyond anything the other contractors had done.
When all was said and done, he patiently communicated his findings. My wife and I learned more about HVAC equipment, supplies, returns, SEER and hybrid systems than we thought we could learn. Armed with new knowledge, we decided to fix the furnace, buy a solar ready heat pump, and more add solar panels to our home to offset the increased electricity used by the heat pump.
With such a big decision to make, my wife and I didn’t move quickly. To help us with the decision, the owner, Dave came out to visit. He built on the excellent experience we had with Chris and made all the improvements pencil out.
Our experience didn’t end there. Dave’s staff came out quickly and efficiently upgraded our returns, installed the heat pump and made everything work perfectly together.
Like many of you, I rarely read to the end of a review and tend to make my judgement based on how many stars are next to the company’s name. I am sure Miller’s will soon be a five star company for everyone… but until they are, don’t hesitate to give them a call. Its very HOT here and they have rescheduled with us 3 times to come out and service our heating and cooling unit. This last time they called they pushed us out a MONTH!

Millers is a great company with great service. We have three small children And i have severe allergies. They have made several calls to our home to install hypoallergenic filters as well as fix the system and clean it. They have always been on time, Nice, professional and have reasonable fees. The techs are all great. I cant recommend these guys and gals enough. Thanks for keeping us With heat and Air Millers!

Terrible customer service/​repor from a tech named Isaac. Misdiagnosed problem, had a cocky attitude from the start, didn’t follow up with important information, yelled at me on the phone, put me on hold only to never get back to me. Our furnace is new, and it seems like someone doesn’t know what he’s doing at all. Hopefully the other tech they’re sending will be better. Oh, also, it’s been over a month of messing around with this company. Can’t recommend.

Millers installed a Lennox high efficiency gas furnace in my home. The first problem was a corrupted display on the LCD thermostat. They came and replaced it in a day or so, but they should’ve seen that it was corrupted when they installed it.
The big problem came later. It seems Millers didn’t properly tighten some compression seals, which was causing condensation to leak onto the internal components, rusting them and my garage floor. On the coldest day of the year, the furnace quit working with a «low pressure valve failed open» error. It seems that the leak short circuited two valve switches. We turned the furnace off for a few hours, which dried up the leak and allowed it to continue working. I called Millers that day and scheduled an emergency service, but they never showed up or called.
Millers has a terrible one year warranty. The problem started 13 months after install. I figured why call these bozos out again, so I called another company who came out and promptly fixed it.
I see Millers trucks in my neighborhood from time to time. A good sign? I don’t think so. They’re probably out trying to fix their own screwups.

Chris from Miller’s was wonderful. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable, and friendly. He let us know what things would need to be repaired or replaced in the near future and the approximate costs and let us know about the maintenance plan, without being pushy. We will be happy to get on the plan once we are financially able to. My only reason for not giving the fifth star, is they don’t give you a time frame, so we were waiting all day. We had to wake up early on a no school day and the service didn’t even start until after 3pm. Also we were told we’d be given a call when the tech was on the way, and we didn’t get a call. The same thing happened to my grandma. She was also very pleased with the service, other than getting no call, so she was still in bed when the tech showed up at 8am. Still, we are very happy with Chris and would definitely recommend Miller’s!

We called Miller’s One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in July 2013 when our air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly. The cost totaled $ 1,258.50, which included purchasing their preventative maintenance plan for one year. We were told the unit would be checked twice on the service plan – once in October, and once in the spring, and they would contact us to schedule the appointments. No one contacted us, so we called them in May and asked why no one had called us. We were told our service plan «had fallen through the cracks.»
A tech came out after we called them and serviced the unit, and tried to collect another year’s payment to re-​up the service plan that hadn’t even expired yet. We received one service check instead of two, and they have been sending us bills, including a «Reminder» since the tech was here in March. Really??? We don’t owe your company anything, and feel we got ripped off on the last service plan. This company is way too eager to «up-​sale,» and they don’t follow through with what they tell you they will do. Burn me once… I’m not purchasing your preventative service plan again.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. We were on their yearly maintenance plan and had no complaints. Until we actually needed service. We brought our newborn baby home in December to find that the heater was blowing out cold air. We had an awful time getting someone out to help. They called and said we got pushed off the schedule for that day, but we were on the schedule for the next day. Finally someone shows up. He replaces a part, and it does not fix the problem. So he orders a part. We have to wait to get on the schedule again. He comes back a few days later, replaces the part and takes off without even checking inside to see if the problem is fixed. Here is the kicker, even though the problem is not fixed, they want to charge us another service fee to send someone out again. We were done messing around with this company. Since we were going to have to pay again anyway, we called a company recommended by a neighbor. They had it fixed in half an hour. Two weeks later my baby knows what a warm house feels like. No thanks to this company. What an ordeal!

A couple of weeks ago we decided to have our furnace and heat pump serviced. We called Millers Heating and Cooling as they seem to have been around the longest and would know what they’re doing. A tech. came out and looked at it, messed around and said there was no freon and there was noting he could do, but schedule another appt to come and have it worked on — it would cost $ 1200.00 to $ 2000.00 — OR he said we might want to look at getting a new heat pump for around $ 2400.00. My husband and I talked about it and it made sense to spend $ 2400.00 vrs. 2000.00 for a repaired one. We were charged $ 107.00 for that service call. THEN the salesman came out a day or two later and set down with us and gave us our options. We were signing the paper work to get a new heat pump installed for 6k (no such thing as a 2400.00 heat pump) Then the next day he called and said for another 1600.00 we could get the furnace replaced. So now we are into this for $ 7800.00. My husband texted me the next day at work said he didn’t have good feelings about this and said he wanted to get other bids. so we got other bids, all came in around the same price. Then his good buddy he plays golf with often and owns commercial buildings here in town suggested he call his guy — so he did. Well, the guy just left and come to find out — our 11 year old system is running good. was a little low on freon, and shouldn’t be leaking at all, so he looked all over for leaks and couldn’t find one — so it is a very very tiny leak. He added a pound of freon for 60.00 and we are fine. If i have to add 60.00 in freon every 11 years — or every year, I’m okay with that. I’m still waiting for the 107.00 refund the owner told me he would refund me…
and to think… it all started with just a maintenance visit.

My experience having them install a system was not good. It was left up to me to finish the install. They never bothered to call to try to make things right.

Miller’s serviced our furnace and arrived on time. The technician recommend several options and let me choose the best for my budget. I recommend them.

I can’t say enough good things about Miller’s One Hour Heating located on Hwy 99 in Hazel Dell. After 4 other service calls from 3 other heating companies, Miller diagnosed the problem, replaced the part and there have been no problems since. The technician was on time, gave me an exact price for the work and most importantly, he knew what he was doing! I recommend them to all my neighbors and friends.
