We own and operate Car Forensics a local Mobile Auto Service and Onsite Diagnostics Unit. There are some areas of auto repair where we cannot benefit our customer’s needs as much as honest brick and mortar shops. A couple of these areas are complete custom exhaust systems and modifications to existing systems on vintage vehicles. We have found that some of the more time intensive jobs require indoor lifts and can be a lot more fun to complete if done in a controlled environment. We can save our customers time and money by referring these specialty jobs over to Line up and Sound off to ensure our customers with carburetors are overwhelmed with joy at the end of the day.
There is a Celebrity Mechanic employed here named Andy. His knowledge, skill & humility exemplifies what an ideal mechanic would be like in a perfect world. Control & Grace. There is talent that exists within this gentleman that transcends the ability of any scan tool or diagnostic machine available on the market. Everyone in this place believes in the same fundamentals as ourselves, such as great service the first time and building customer relationships. We believe shops like this will endure the tests of time.

These guys did an awesome job! Our car wouldn’t pass emission and we were quoted $ 1500 to fix it. Stumbled on this place and got it fixed for $ 250. Passed emissions and runs great. Thanks guys!!!

I got a full suspension repair and when I loaned my 1997 Lexus to a friend he commented that the car handles,“like it’s on rails”.
Being in a hurry the people at Line Up… took care of me quickly for a good price.
I’m certain the mechanic Charles aka CV can diagnose, repair and fine tune any of my vehicles.
I also had my 1996 pickup truck tuned up and it too runs great. Neither car has needed repairs since and its been 2 years. I am glad an honest, high quality mechanic is in Vancouver.
The «sound off“part is a gear head thing. They do amazing stuff to make your car faster with exhaust system upgrades at prices lower than buying the exhaust parts and doing it yourself.

I have known about these guys for a little over a year. I have not done business with them until recently this month, and I am happy to say that these guys are very friendly, honest, and hardworking.
After numerous delays, on my part, we finally were able to get the job done and out the door. I want everyone to know that these guys are worth a visit, I’m glad I have them in my contacts on my phone!

The WHOLE gang at this service and repair shop is FANTASTIC!
After dealing with different shops up and down the coast (always feeling like I was overcharged for lackluster work and service) CV and his crew have shown me there are still honest and caring people left in the Automobile industry!!!
These guys give correct diagnosis, extremely prompt and well done service, AND it’s all done at a price that doesn’t make me go look for a second job to pay!
I take both my cars here, and will continue to do so for as long as these guys are in buiz!
Bottom line is out of all the cars I’ve had and different work done at different places (and there’s been a lot) these guys are the best!
