Kung Fu Shih-​Tzu — Your Full Service Pet Salon serving the Vancouver-​Orchards area. Located in East Vancouver, on Fourth Plain Road, our salon is registered with the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA) and specializes in All Breed Grooming and Styling services following NDGAA and American Kennel Club (AKC) standards. Additional services include boarding, sitting and secure pet transport.

History

Established in 2012.

Kung Fu Shih-​Tzu opened for service under the direction of its parent business, Quality Pet Services, in June 2012. Quality Pet Services, also located in Vancouver, was established in 1988. Both facilities have been associated with the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA) since inception.

Business Owner

Shellee and Jay Saldivar are long time Vancouver residents who bring over 24 years of grooming and pet care experience to this east Vancouver facility. Their business goal is to provide quality, courtesy and value.

Shellee Saldivar, Director of Grooming/​Styling, is certified through the NDGAA as a National Certified Master Groomer. Her extensive career includes several years of competitive grooming, at the national level, including multiple 2^nd & 3^rd place finishes. Over the years she’s developed a love for, and expertise in, catering to the special needs of the geriatric pet.
