I have been wanting to get LASIK for many years now. My friend had gone to this place several years back and keep telling me to get it done through King LASIK. After years of hesitation I finally got it done and I couldn’t be any happier.
The staff at Kings LASIK are very professional and very nice people. They ensure to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. They will walk through the whole procedure with you and answer all your questions with confidence.
I now have great vision and no longer use contacts or glasses. I highly recommend this place for those who are planning to get LASIK. I will definitely be referring a few of my friends here!

I have been wanting to have lasik done for some time. With all of the ads on the radio and on the Internet, it’s hard to filter through all the gimmicks and bait & switch marketing that some of these big chains put out there to get you in the door.
After months of research and multiple «free consultations»,…(7 I think) I chose King Lasik. The staff is amazing and truly care about you as a person not just a number. They were not pushy or assumptive and I felt really comfortable with them from the first call to set my appointment.
I am happy to say that It’s been 4 days since my procedure and I am more then pleased with my crystal clear vision !! The whole process was care free and the post-​op visit was a breeze.
If you’re considering lasik, don’t waste your time shopping around… I’ve done for you.

I was very nervous going into this process. I did my research and also had some friends recommend King Lasik. The staff were very helpful and helped me explore all of my options. I appreciated the high level of technology and analysis they did for my eyes to help me choose the right surgery for me. I’m so glad to drive confidently at night, play on the floor with my boys without worrying about glasses, and only have to put on sunglasses rather than take off glasses then put on sunglasses. I would recommend them to anyone interested in changing their world!

This has been like a MIRACLE for me! My vision was considered worse than ²⁰⁄₅₀₀; I have been wearing glasses since the age of four. When I woke up after LASIK, I could read the second hand on my clock… Before, I could not even see the clock as it blended into the wall.
From start to finish, the staff is courteous and kind. My complementary first exam gave me a lot of confidence and a ton of information!
On the day of my surgery, my husband drove me. He was able to come into the surgical suite and even took pictures!
My surgery was performed by Dr. King. His staff told me he has performed over 100,000 of these procedures, so you can have confidence he knows what he’s doing!
Almost all of the staff at kingly sick have had LASIK done on themselves. The day that I went in, the daughter of one of the staff members was undergoing the procedure. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is considering it. It is the best investment I’ve ever made in my eyes! Truly, like a miracle. I hope my own kids get the opportunity to have LASIK done someday. I would recommend this to anyone, if you’re thinking about it, don’t wait!

From start to finish the whole process was explained in detail and all questions, expectations were exceeded. It has been one year and I love the ²⁰⁄₁₅ vision and the opportunity to not have to wear glasses on a regular basis. King Lasik is the place to go! They are knowledgeable, caring and very fair. They told me I didn’t need the more expensive treatment and suggested a cheaper option. There follow up service is great too.

I had a great experience with bladeless Lasik here! King LASIK was recommended by a friend who used to work here, had successful surgery himself and several of his friends, too. I now have ²⁰⁄₁₅ vision after wearing contacts/​glasses for half of my life!
I visited the office for a consultation, and at the end, they discussed payment options and scheduling an appointment so be prepared if you’re interested at all. Another doctor works out of this office, but I chose a day for my surgery to be done by Dr. King. The surgery itself felt like it was over within about 5 minutes. I went home, slept the rest of the day — and the next morning I woke up with perfect vision! No pain at all. It has been about 1 ½ years since I had Lasik done and have never regretted it. I had two follow up appointments, but after that, no more have been necessary!

I am very happy with my decision to go with King Lasik for my procedure.
Consultation: I was able to schedule an appointment to see them fairly quickly and they were able to get me in during my desired time. All of the staff at the clinic are very pleasant and efficient. The clinic itself, while not having the appearance of a top notch facility on the outside, is very nice and welcoming on the inside. Refreshments and a nice waiting area calm the nerves. Consult lasted about an hour for the exam, payment options, and questions. You leave with a boat load of information. It can be quite overwhelming but I think it works since the decision should be made at home after you have time to review everything.
Procedure: I arrived and the staff went over my post op care instructions, provided me with the supplies I’ll need after my procedure, and took care of payment first. I appreciated that since I don’t think anyone wants to go through all that after the procedure. Prior to the day of my procedure the staff warned me that it gets busy sometimes and to be prepared to be at the clinic for 2 – 3 hours. I was done with my procedure and was out of there under an hour from the time I walked in. That was fantastic. I was back at home within an hour and in bed to sleep through the discomfort. The clinic provides you with some meds to take for relaxation and sleep if you so choose.
Post-​op: You go back in for a post op exam in one day, one week, and one to three months. I have had all three of my post ops. Again, I was able to be scheduled during my desired time and the fantastic part about it was that I was in and out in under 15 minutes all three times. This is practically unheard of in the medical field. But don’t get me wrong. They don’t rush you or try to push you out the door. It’s just that every time I went in I didn’t have to wait and was taken back within a few minutes. They make sure and sit down and ask you if you have any questions and will take the time to go over things with you. They are a pretty efficient team though and I was able to take care of these post ops on my lunch break AND still have time for lunch. 10 stars for valuing my time. By the way, they send you reminders of each appointment via email and that is super convenient.
I have only one suggestion and this in no way detracts from my overall experience at King Lasik. I think the patients would appreciate some written information on the exact steps of the actual procedure. I found myself guessing about what comes next as I lay there in the op chair. For example, I didn’t know that after working on the left eye and then the right eye, I would be moved again to go back to the left eye and then again to the right. It caught me by surprise. However, there was a tech in the background counting down from 20 seconds so I would know how long it would take for the laser to do its thing and that was very helpful-​thank you! Either way, the procedure doesn’t last more then a few minutes and you’re out of the chair before you know it.
I am very happy with my new vision. Being contact lens free is amazing. My last post op showed that my vision is stable and almost ²⁰⁄₁₅. Overall, I am very happy with the procedure and with my experience at King Lasik. Most of the staff have had corrective procedures themselves and I appreciated their opinions on the different types of procedures you can have. I would and will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of having Lasik.

For years, I lived in fear of being that guy. He was going to be me: the one with the broken glasses, despondent on the steps of the library. The one feeling my way down the hallway as the zombies grabbed at my ankles. The one whose contacts somehow incubate the infection that kills off all life on this otherwise deserted island.

Yeah, I got this. Two weeks ago, my vision was something in the ballpark of ²⁰⁄₈₀₀. At my follow-​up today, I’m at ²⁰⁄₁₅.
I’ve become a walking billboard, a poster child, an obnoxious radio ad for King LASIK. When what they sell is unaided clear vision, and what you get is exactly that… how can you give less than five stars?
Some notes:
— The staff and opticians are darlings, incredibly professional, and clear communicators.
— You’ll go in a handful of times. There’s the evaluation, the actual surgery, and then a 1-​day, 1-​week, and 1-​month check-​up. They are thorough.
— You won’t likely meet your surgeon until the day of the appointment, but he’ll make you feel at ease, he’ll do a great job, and…
— The actual procedure is QUICK! So quick. Just when I was getting panicky and thinking … um, guys? I dunno if this is such a good idea, guys… it was over!
— The best piece of advice I received — and have since been applying liberally to all parts of my life — was: sleeping is healing. Sleep as much as possible right away.
— The prescriptions are expensive — mine ran me around $ 130 total. Use insurance if you have it.
— The medicated eyedrops leave a gross taste in your mouth and can make your throat dry. You do the anatomy on that one.
— Given the opportunity, it’s OK to get a Groupon for LASIK. I know, it sounds sketchy. But here’s the trick: DO YOUR RESEARCH before you make the purchase. Or do what I did: get one of your friends to do it first! I’m pretty sure King LASIK offered it this year because…
— This office has moved fairly recently into its new digs, which appears to be an old bank building. The coins inlaid in the glass entry doors will tip you off if the drive-​thru window on the far side doesn’t. Once you step in, though, it’s all doctor-​level hi-​tech, accommodating and welcoming and spotless.
— After you’re all done, you’ll be one giant leap ahead of those poor vision-​impaired schmos when the apocalypse rears its ugly head. Lemme at ‘em, I say. I’m ready for anything now.
