I wish there was an option to give her 0 stars as I don’t believe she even deserves 1. I had heard from a friend that her massages were decent so I went ahead and booked one. I had to wait 2 months to get on her books… but I thought if she was THAT busy it had to be a great massage?
It was right before Thanksgiving so I thought the massage would help reduce my holiday stress. She contacted me via text 2 hours before the massage telling me she would not be able to make it. I was pretty bummed because I had waited so long, but I figured she could just work me in sooner.
WRONG!
She told me I had to book it online again, and that was another 2 months out. I did that, booking the massage on my birthday. When the day came around I got a confirmation email so I thought the birthday massage was a go, so again I got excited… only to have her cancel that morning. I tried to explain to her she canceled twice and asked her if I could reschedule soon if at all possible.
She text me back that I was being «pushy» and that «she would be uncomfortable with me on her table». Then she told me that she has the right to refuse service to me! I told her that it IS her right to refuse service to me… but it was MY right to go onto the review websites to tell my story. I had no idea I would find so many others with a very similar experience! Talk about a terrible birthday experience:(
So who knows if her massages are good or not– but she will…
#1 Cancel on you after making you wait forever for a massage with her,
#2 Be totally rude and inappropriate via text message!
Your call… but I wouldn’t waste your money trying to find out!

Jessica and I had some scheduling issues so I wasn’t able to rebook with her. She handled the situation professionally and refunded my money.

Similar to the other reviewers, I bought a massage from her on Groupon. I booked several weeks out using the online booking system she provided the link to in the Groupon. She called me 2 hours before the massage to say she «wasn’t working that day» and had to cancel. I called back immediately and she didn’t answer. I left multiple messages over the following week to reschedule and she never returned any of my calls. Eventually I called Groupon for a refund.

Was going to buy the Groupon, however, I tried to call her first to offer to buy the message directly from her for the Groupon price because I know that Groupon keeps 52% of the sale. However, could never get a hold of her and she makes Groupon customers book on a different website. Needless to say after reading her reviews and just trying to get a hold of her that I am not impressed and will not be purchasing any massages from her anytime soon.

I had a very similar experience to Karen M.
I went to see her with a Groupon initially and was very pleased to find a therapist directly across the street from my condo. I let her know during the appt that this proximity was a big deal for me as I travel for work often and have an erratic schedule so close by is a real plus.
The massage delivered was good and I agreed to purchase two more for $ 45 each after I was finished. I believe this is what Groupon can do for small businesses — introduce new customers. From there, it’s up to the business to keep them.
One week after purchasing them I got a mass text saying she was moving locations to East Vancouver. I felt a bit like I had been bait and switched; I assume she knew during my initial massage that she was changing locations in a week.
I planned to drive out of my way and use my pre-​purchased massages anyway. I made a second appt, she called an hour or so beforehand to move it. I was able to make the new time and figured it was a one time thing.
I made a third appt and she called that morning and left a message letting me know she had car problems and wanted to move me 1.5 hours later. I could not make the new time and I didn’t like the 0 for 2 on keeping appts so asked for a refund.
I got a slew of really unprofessional text messages from there accusing me of not supporting one woman businesses and being dishonest. Then eventually she said she would refund my remaining $ 45, but nothing has been processed so I went ahead and disputed the charge with my credit card company.
I believe she is starting out, but I don’t think that’s a good excuse to treat customers so poorly and unprofessionally.
I strongly recommend you find another therapist if you value your time.
