Hicks Plumbing

I called Hicks Plumbing because our home’s main water line started leaking and coming out of the cracks of our driveway. I spoke to Rod, the manager, and he said he would be able to fix it for $ 95/​hour plus parts. He called me later to get my exact address for the utilities 811 locate. On Tuesday we had all the locates done. Wednesday was supposed to be the day Rod’s team would come out to fix my driveway. I called in the morning to see what time they’d be out. They told me they changed their minds and that they couldn’t come out and fix our driveway because they are low on «manpower» to get the job done. I asked when they’d have the manpower to get it done. They told me they won’t ever have the manpower to do it and that they won’t do this job.
This was planned two days in advance and I had to get approval from my insurance company to have them get the job done. On top of that my family hasn’t had proper water service for 5 days now. (It started on Saturday) Now I have to find a new plumber and get them approved. Don’t get your plumbing done at Hick’s Plumbing.

Seriously poor service. 2 weeks ago we had a block in one of our pipes. While I was at work my fiancé calls and they come out clear the block and all seems well. 2 weeks later the same pipe clogs so again my fiancé calls to have them come out. This time though they refuse to come out and tell her to call roto rooter because she asked them why what they fixed wasnt fixed. Honest question and since I need a functional bathroom I was appalled that they called 7 hours after she left a service call message. At 330 on a friday its nearly impossible to have a service call without paying premium prices. When I called I received a voicemail (apparently no one ever picks up the phone) and I left a message requesting a call back. 3 & ½ hours later I am writing this review while another company is here (im happily paying extra because I cant go witjout a bathroom for the weekend) and they are solving the issue. Under no circumstances can you rely on this company to do A. Good work B. Stand by their work or C. Be dependable.
