Best place in town for chinese food. Everything is delicious. They also have great appetizers, the fried prawns are amazing as well as the pot stickers. Very nice owners. A place where you’ll become a regular at for sure.

Absolutely love this place but their quality is hit and miss. Lately is been less than desirable. If the food is fresh it’s by far the best food around, if not well then you’re eating stale hard chicken. If they could keep their quality and freshness up this would easily be 5 stars+

I am writing this review because I moved away 4 years ago and still miss this place. I used to literally live around the corner and would eat here almost daily. The owners were always more kind than they had any reason to be and even remembered my name when I stopped in 3 years after I moved. The food here always hits the spot and I was never disapointed with the quality. It’s hands down my favorite Chinese food restaurant and after living in the bay area for these 4 years I still haven’t found a place I like better. Stop in and give them a try, you won’t be sorry.

Great cheap chineese food, tons for your money! I love the ladies who insist you sample just about everything! Looks a little rough on the outside but it is clean and well kept inside.

It saddens me to write a 2 star review, because my fiancé who picked up our take out, insisted that the workers/owners of this restaurant were so so nice and went out of their way to make some dishes fresh that they were out of. That being said, it was the worst Chinese takeout I’ve had in a long time. I got the fried rice and orange chicken. The sauce had 0 flavor, no taste to either dish. The fried rice had nothing in it but one or two single green onions. My parents who were in town, ordered sweet and sour pork and beef broccoli with chow mein. We all tried each others dishes, but found no flavor in any of the dishes. Pretty disappointing

The salt and pepper chicken is superb and I’m a big fan of the mandarin chicken. Similar to the orange chicken with just a hint more zest and embellishments. Price is fair. Don’t be fooled, location setting may seem a little run down, but this place is definetly a gem in the rough.

Pop in and pop out for a quick lunch. Not too bad. The variety changes each time I have gone in and sometimes there is a lot of dishes to choose from and sometimes not so much. This is easy for on the go lunch. You choose the dish you want much like Panda express. The quality is okay. I think it is about convenience and more of a family feel rather than the chain feel.

Golden china for the most part has decent food with decent enough prices. My only issue has to do with the flavor in the food as it leaves something to be desired. Their menu is diverse enough and the staff is nice but overall I wasn’t impressed with food quality and taste, not saying it was bad it just didn’t exceed my expectations.

My girlfriend and I moved to Vancouver a few years ago and we were searching for a local Chinese-American restaurant and we found this place. Every time we come here the food and service is excellent! We highly recommend the salt and pepper chicken but you won’t be disappointed with anything here. The owners are super friendly and are always willing to give you freshly cooked food and cook at your request. The ordering is like Panda Express because you choose your side of rice or noodles and then 2 entrees but is 10x better than corporate food.

Our new favorite place to go. A small family owned restaurant with a buffet and cook to order. All meals delivered in to go containers which keeps cost down. As we’ve got to know them, they’ve even started bringing in non-meat options. Large portions of fresh veggies. A definite must go to for dine in or take out. Lots to choose from even for meat eaters.

I first tried eating at this place about 9 years ago when I was in middle school. I ate there over and over again after that. Their prices have always been cheap and they give you so much food. Very much worth your money! I recently went there last week & ordered orange chicken, beef broccoli, and chow mien. It was delicious & I spent way less than $ 10. I made my boyfriend try the food & he was impress that it was good food for a cheap price. I recommend it.(:

Gave then two stars for the low prices and friendly smiles. I would have rather had Panda Express. The salt and pepper chicken is fried chicken bites with salt and pepper dumped on them. No comment on the orange chicken. I’d rather have 6 larger crab puffs than 12 bite size puffs that are fried so hard they could take out your gums.

Craving chinese food and found this place. While it has a fast food«panda ex» kinda layout, it is very clean and the food is so much better. I got a 2 item combo with chow mein, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken(all were delicious) and tried crab puffs for the first time. Crab puffs seem to be fried won ton with cream cheese filling. I am not sure if there is crab in any of them but they were still delicious. I’ll definitely go again if I’m craving chinese fast food.

This is now my new favorite Chinese buffet place. Easy to get to. Not much to look at, but I’m here for the food! When I arrived and announced this was the first time trying them, the very friendly lady had me sample pretty much everything they had. Like — no questions, here’s food. Try it. Everything was fresh, and tasted as expected. Price is ½ that of Panda. Should you really have to pay $ 20 bucks for essentially fast food? Highly recommend.

Excellent service, portion size, taste and price! Pretty much a panda express. Food was fresh and place was very clean!

Huge disappointment. Noodle had no flavor, fried rice was like rice with soy sauce. All fried chicken dishes with lots of crusts with small meat. Beef and broccoli was too salty. It was identical to Chinese fast food chain restaurant, or worse. Staff was nice and friendly though.

I feel like part of the family walking in here. So friendly. The food is better then panda, Also faster. If you like Americanized Chinese then this is up your alley, it’s worth a trip.

First let me say I am not a fan of Americanized Chinese food. This place is it. I found the food either overly salty or sweet. I wouldn’t say there was much of a variety in the menu. There is salty fried chicken, fried chicken dipped in different sweet sauces… soup and stir fry. That is how I sum up the meal. If you are looking for healthy food, go elsewhere. My friend liked the food so maybe it is just me. The service is excellent. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

This was my husband’s and I’s first time here and I have to say it was PHENOMENAL the food was delicious my husband and I both got the number two, I am not sure what he got for his entrees but I got the chicken chow neon, the sesame chicken, and salt and pepper chicken. We also got pot stickers, crab puffs, and coconut shrimp. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted so DELICIOUS, I highly recommend coming here the food is wonderful and amazing! I will definitely be back :-)
