Express Alterations

My son had a pair of dress pants that needed to be hemmed and they needed to be done the next day. We took them into Express Alterations, they had my son put the pants on, marked them and then they hemmed them perfectly for us. They were done and waiting at the pick up time we were given. I could not have asked for better or faster service.
Several months later I had a bridesmaid dress that needed to be taken in. It was a hard alteration to do because of how the dress was made and how it needed to be taken in. I heard they did a great job on fancy dresses so I thought I’d let them do it. They did a wonderful job on the alteration and you could not tell the dress had been altered at all. It was a fraction of the price it would have been to have it done at the wedding shop and it was done in a matter of days, not weeks!

Express is a joke, needed a zipper fixed had to wait 6 days then got the pants, my bad should have checked them, put them on and oh my they sewed the zipper crooked wtf I don’t have the time to go back last year I used them the only issue was how long it took to complete the job, and they call themselves express same day services. Horrible ;(

I bought some wool slacks at Costco that need to be hemmed. Service was fast, workmanship was excellent and the price was right. Great place for alterations.

Life Tip #6: Always wear pants to a job interview.
The kind lady with the gruff exterior at Express Alterations in the Vancouver Mall helped me get a job because without her, I might of been in a pair of tidy whities and little hopes of making a positive first impression. The look might of been good for Michael Keaton trending in Birdman, but I don’t recommend it for any jobs in Clark County.
I had flown to Vancouver, WA with my new blue suit pressed and ready to go for a 8:00 a.m. interview the next day … only to discover that I’d left my pressed new blue suit pants at home. Luckily, I discovered this around 6:00 p.m., so, I frantically drove to the mall, rushed into Macy’s and over-​paid for another suit immediately. Whew … except the pants weren’t hemmed.
So, I grabbed the suit and headed out into the mall to find the «alterations place.» It is Express Alterations on the 1^st floor … and luckily (again) it really was express. The older lady working there was busy with a couple wedding fittings and the even older lady in back was busy sewing away. They were backed up. At first she said it’d take a couple days to finish … uh-​oh … but after explaining my situation she sighed and said «ok.»
Thank you, thank you. thank you. I popped into the small changing area with a flimsy curtain, tried on the pants, let her mark them, and then hit the mall to wait for 90 minutes. I came back in 75. The pants were ready. Paid $ 17 for the express service. They looked good. I was happy. Life was gonna be ok, after all. Exhale …
P. S. The job interview went really well …, but nobody even mentioned my pants. I’m sure they were just as thankful as me that I was wearing them.

Recent weight loss prompted me (prior to a cruise) to seek either a new suit, or a significant alteration on my current one. Since I’d only worn it twice, and it was one I’d like to wear more (don’t wear suits often), I sought out this establishment. The alteration/​measurement process was quick and efficient, and in a few days (they advertise same day service available, but I wasn’t in a hurry) I returned to pick up the suit. Tried it on, and it was perfection! These guys do good work at a reasonable price, and I can confidently recommend them.

David’s bridal was going to charge me double the price and take a month to do my bridesmaid dress alterations. Express Alterations had friendlier staff and a much faster turnaround time, I will be bringing all my alterations to them from now on.
