Do not stay here, Do NOT make reservations online and even then call to confirm you have a reservation. THEY HAVE NO NON-​SMOKING HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE ROOMS They cannot fill your needs. You’ll be told by Pete the manager that you are correct, he and Econo Lodge are wrong by calling THE DAY OF your reservation to tell you they cannot fill your needs. EVEN if you the reservation date was 21 days before the actual stay. Pete will tell you «what am i suppose to do pull all my reservations for a year to see if there are any special requests?» I’d say as a customer service rep, pulling those even a week before hand would be helpful in providing superior customer service. Pete said i shouldn’t stay here, i wouldn’t be satisfied. He’s right, we’ll pay $ 40 more and go stay at the Hilton. Getting a room on the second floor is beneficial less bugs. Not glamorous and a little grimey but I got what I expected. The price was okay but the location of this hotel is in a funky spot near two bars and near some very sketchy people. Be careful where you are late at night me and my boyfriend walked down the street to a convenience store and a strung out man with a samurai sword walked in… Hotel is not terrible (not great, I wouldn’t go back) but location is not savory.

It’s too bad there isn’t less than one star.
1. Moldiest bathmat I’ve ever seen in my life. The whole thing was moldy. I didn’t even know a bathmat could be so gross.
2. Bed 1: pillowcase was dirty with makeup smears
3. Bed 2: Dead bug (spider?) on the sheets.
Nastiest hotel I’ve ever been in. You’ll note I didn’t say «stayed» in. We got a refund and left.
Comfort Inn, less than 1 mile away is new, clean, and is the same price.

Simply I didn’t like the place because I was cracking the whole night. No heating system !!!

This hotel is a good choice of you are attending a convention at the Hilton but don’t want to pay Hilton prices. The rooms are cheap, clean enough that I won’t complain, and conveniently located. The service, however, leaves much to be desired. The whole attitude of the employees here is that you staying here is inconvenient for them. First I had the call three times before anyone bothered to answer the phone. When I came to check in, there was no one at the counter and another couple waiting. We had to ring the bell and the guy didn’t seem pleased. I think we had woken him up. I got questioned when I asked for 2 extra pillows. And finally when I asked about checking out late, I was «graciously» given an extra half hour and told «no more».
I’ll stay here again, because it’s cheap and convenient. But I wouldn’t cry if the people who run it were replaced.

This is such a nasty place to spend your money to stay. I drove across country with my boyfriend and this place gives me chills. The floor is dirty, the shower leaks all over the floor, it smells so bad. You be stupid to think that after all theses bad reviews that it is a decent place. Nasty don’t bother with this germ infested place

The shower was moldy, the carpet was dirty and the room reeked of deodorant which tried to cover other bad smells. I should have done my homework because this was not worth the money, at any price.

I was really surprised to see the low star reviews this place received. My wife and I honestly had the best stay and will refer it to friends. The place is quiet, the rooms are cozy, and there is always at least a spot or two to park in.
The staff was kind and respectful, an honest reflection of the caliber of people in Vancouver. We’re from LA so they’re pretty much unicorns.
Right down the street from Main Street, I have zero doubts we’ll stay here again. Thank you for having us.

Ok, I have stayed here numerous times. It is a simple, inexpensive hotel. Nothing flashy, well located, and easy to get to. Rooms are always clean and well taken care of. As to continental breakfast, um… well orange juice and a sweet pastry. But, again, this is an inexpensive hotel. Very friendly staffers.

You definitely can’t expect much for the price. We had a room on the groud floor and we found mold on the ceiling and spotted on the walls of the bathroom (it appeared that they had tried to paint over it.) and the ceiling fan cover was partially hanging loose. They would only give us 2 key cards even though we had 4 people and there was this random mirror on the wall that was blocked by the microwave and TV. There were also stains on our sheets, but at least they appeared to be clean. However, they did have a fridge and a microwave! Parking was free and wifi was apparently free (they never gave us info on how to access it or what the password was, which may have been my own stupidity.) The shower was actually pretty nice and it almost looked like they covered the surrounding walls in granite to make cleaning easier.
If you don’t mind dirty rooms, this is a good price.

One star is one too many. The room was a dive. I failed to get a wake up call that I asked for. I was threatened with a call to the police on the last day because according to them I stayed one extra night and needed to pay for that night. I showed the e-​mail with the check out date being the day I was being threatened. They said the e-​mail was wrong. I did check in a day early but had called two days prior to add that day. They absolutely refused to believe me. After leaving that dive of a hotel I checked my phone records and verified I called to add the extra night. They also said they had been calling from 0800 – 1000 that morning to contact me before knocking on the door. The phone never rang. Is that why the wake call never came through too? The alarm clock looked as though it had been thrown against a wall and had no face plate on it. It also failed to work. Making the initial reservation was difficult to because of language barriers.
Again, one star is too many.

So got off the highway, wasn’t too difficult to find. Tucked in a small corner by the highway. Keep in mind this was approximately 5:00 pm. Sun was shining, everything looked fine. Walked into the front office, and the heavy smell of indian food inundated me. It became quite distracting. Normal front desk service. We go to our room, which was a single king size bed. The room was fairly large for an Econolodge. At first look, it seemed pretty clean and to be honest, most of it was decently cleaned. I had to go pee, so I headed into the rather large bathroom and of course, found a dead spider in the windowsill. Other than that the bathroom was immaculate compared to the Econolodge i stayed in a couple years ago. The TV, Microwave, minifridge, and coffee machine all worked perfectly to my surprise. The bed looked clean. I inspected the mattress itself and of course there were the normal brown stains. I looked for bedbugs, and after a quick 30 second inspection it looked clean. Over the next 3 hours an army of mosquitos kept sneaking their way in, and I just kept killing them. Somehow after killing one another would appear 10 minutes later. This is not a motel to take your socks off. The furniture is decent, looked (keyword, «looked») clean, and was nice. As a lot of others have said, as soon as the sun went down, the location of the motel seemed to change a lot. The motel is directly across the street from a pretty sketch bar, and prostitutes were rampant. Didn’t feel very safe. I had absolutely no problem remembering to fully barricade my door. overall the room is very outdated, as one would expect out of a 65 dollars/​night room. Breakfast barely counts as breakfast.

Don’t even think of staying there… Enough said…

Scary place. Drug deals and prostitution going on in the open. the clerk with an asian accesnt stayed behind the secure window at 9pm at nite and you could not see her. it was in the 70 dollar range, and they required a 50 dollar CASH deposit. it took a half hour to get the deposit back in the morning. Do no stay here unless heavily armed.

In a quiet corner in southeast City Center… until you open one of the windows facing the freeway. just had to spoil it! lol. The room was clean and decent. The shower head seems to produce sprays too «sharp» for me… weird. You can get a small breakfast in the mornings up front. Mmm cold orange juice & jelly sandwich.
Decent stay and great value.
