I Hate car shopping… The last time I bought a car from a big dealership was in 1996. It scarred me. But I had to pull up my big girl pants and get something with 4 wheel drive.
I tried shopping on line first, did a pre approval thing. Got a call (I didn’t answer at first) from someone at Hannah. The guy sounded nice. I took a deep breathe and called him back.
They were nice… The whole time.

I purchased a 2007 GMC Envoy from «Dick Say’s Yes!». I will say everyone was very friendly and pleasant. Good in that area. Thank you!
However, I test drove the auto at night in the dark making it a bit hard to notice that the high beams, dash light adjustment, dome light switches and fog lights were broken at the dash control. I have gone in person, the finance manager said no can’t help me (then next day after I purchased auto) he said, «you purchased the auto as is», I wrote two letters of which I had absolutely no response, not even a phone call returned. Nice!
So I decided to post on Unilocal.They could have made this right with ease, but they chose not to.

I recently purchased a 2013 Acura ILX low miles (17k) after taking it home for the evening I realized it was not for me. Without hesitation they allowed me to come in the next day and swap out the car with a 2014 Passat low miles (11k). They were transparent the entire time. All finances were worked out prior to me stepping foot on the lot. They were not pushy about extended warranty or gap, they just showed us the options and we were free to decline. We thought we were dialed in and knew what we wanted. We ended up getting a car we didn’t even have on our radar. I worked with Doug and Lawrence to dial in financing and discuss vehicle options. Although both of them were out the day we drove down, Doug ensured we were matched with someone that best suited our personality. Lance was incredibly laid back. He spent the entire day with us making sure we weren’t pressured and got exactly what we wanted. During the exchange all paperwork was done prior to our arriving. It was the best car buying experience and most patient. I couldn’t be happier and would love to work with them again in the future. Thank you Doug K, Lawrence R, Lance P, and James W for making this experience so great!

People their advertisement dick say yes is fake. It should be called DICK don’t alway say yes, cause we sometimes say no.

You know you hear people saying that car buying and home buying are the 2 most stressful things you can go through as an adult. Whoever said the part about cars must have been shopping at Dick Says Yes. My parter and I recently purchased a 2003 Dodge Durango. and I have to say it was the most angering stressful situation we’ve ever been put in. Robert our sales guy welcomed us and our money with open arms when we told him we were there because of an email we received claiming you would match up to $ 500. We put $ 700 cash down and you matched $ 500 so our down payment was all in all $ 1,200. Or so we thought. After we had been to the dealership multiple times we were asked to sign a piece of paper authorizing you to take another $ 500 dollars out of our bank account for what you called the «rest of the down payment» WE WERE NEVER TOLD BY ANYONE THAT WE TALKED TO THAT WHAT WE PUT DOWN WASN’T ALL WE WERE EXPECTED TO PUT DOWN. We both feel lied to and robbed from. Why did you ask us for another $ 500 that we didn’t have to give you? Why wasn’t our $ 1,200 down payment enough? and why in that entire process didn’t Rock or Robert say anything to either of us? It’s obvious that you weren’t «matching» anything. You were in essence just letting us borrow $ 500 from you so we could pay you back later. AND IN MY OPINION IF YOU’RE A REPUTABLE DEALER AND YOU DON’T DISCLOSE THE ENTIRE PRICE OF THE CAR AND YOU TAKE MONEY FROM US LATER YOU ARE STEALING OUR MONEY!!!

I forgot the name of the guy who helped us. It starts with a letter «J». We had a pleasant experience with this dealership, «J» was very patient with us and very professional, unlike some other salesman from other dealership. They were willing to work with our budget. They were very helpful and Rob the final guy that we talked to regarding financing was very helpful. It was a good experience and would definitely buy another/​next car from them in the future. I love my 2013 Nissan Rogue!

Lawrence is a lifesaver. Thankfully, we received a lower rate and lower monthly payment, after taking off an unnecessary extended service contract; which, Jim Mahin, had failed to explain that it was optional. It was forced on me and caused the payments to be a lot higher than needed. It’s like we were treated like we were stupid, really. He rushed through the papers and failed to even copy them correctly!
The story is completely different with Lawrence. He went over everything in detail, making sure he didn’t leave everything out and made sure we weren’t charged more than agreed. Walked out the door with 2.99 APR and a reasonable payment. I will be a repeat customer in the future. I recommend him.
I can’t not recommend Jim enough. Terrible sales tactics and completely unprofessional!

I was not excited about car shopping at all, and had to literally be dragged into the dealership just to look. Even though we arrived within an hour of closing, Lance was immediately friendly and honest with us about the car buying process, and made my worries and nerves quickly disappear. He wasn’t pushy or aggressive like sales people can be, and I felt like he really wanted to help me find something that fit my wants and needs, as well as my budget.
We ended up test driving a handful of cars that would work for me, both at Dick Says Yes and at the Dick Hannah Auto Mall. Lance stayed helpful, positive, and upbeat, even though it was 9:30 at night before we returned to his office. I didn’t go into the dealership that night expecting to walk out with a car, but Lance helped me find my dream car for a great price, and was able to work out a monthly payment I felt comfortable with — even with my less than stellar credit. So, by 11pm, I was officially a Subaru owner!
All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my experience so far at Dick Says Yes, with Lance, and with everyone else I had contact with (Roc, the service department, and others). They made the whole process easy, stress-​free, and even fun! I don’t get why there are so many bad reviews… If you’re looking for a car, I’d recommend giving Dick Says Yes a try!

I am probably the worst person to purchase a car ! With HORRIFYING credit and an open bankruptcy no one and LITERALLY no one would help us we went to Ron Tonkin (asses) we went to specialty dealerships we went to over 20 different places and not one would help us or treat us with respect and in fact we were told that nobody WOULD finance us.
After months of searching and lots of tears I did an online inquiry for Dick says yes (knowing my brother just bought a car and loves it) I had no hope that someone could but we were desperate.
I received a call from Dani Gwiazda a few short minutes from my inquiry, I sobbed to her on the phone about our nightmare of a situation. Before she even had me come in she did everything to ensure I was approved. And by that Friday I was rolling out of there with MY NEW CAR !
Not only did she help us but she was kind, empathetic, hilarious, and down right a joy she kept in constant communication throughout the process and did not B. S me ! I recommend this place to everyone ! And ask for Dani Gwiazda she’s the best !

Dick does not say yes they say no and even then you jump through hoops plus don’t try anything with them if you havent lived in the area for a year or more what a let down

I had an excellent experience at this location and am very pleased with not only my new vehicle, but with the level of service and attentiveness to my specific needs.
I spent several weeks shopping around and Chris Jarvis at Dick Says Yes was able to acquire the lowest rate I could find. Dani Gwiazda was my sales rep and was very patient with my browsing and even drove over a car from another location just for me to test drive.
Both employees were very professional, but more importantly they were friendly and fun. I’ll definitely refer my friends and family to this location. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure!

I arrived at Dick Hannah and Nick came right up to help. We let him know what we were looking for. We started at Dick Says Yes, but he helped us to find the right car at another of Dick Hannah’s locations. Thanks Nick for not leading us around to things we did not want, but doing what we asked.

I had called them about a week and a half before Christmas to come in and talk about financing, but had to call back the next day to cancel my meeting due to my work schedule. Due to my hectic holiday work schedule, I was unable reschedule. Since my first call they have called me a total of ten times, about every other day. It’s bordering on harassment now. I don’t even listen to the message they leave, I just hit the 7 key over and over until the message erases. I’ve added their number to my call reject list

I recently purchased a Used 2009 Subaru from this dealership and had a very pleasant experience. All of the staff were amazing! My salesman was was Lance and I highly recommend him! Most salesmen I spoke with through my car hunt were pushy and made me feel pressured and Lance was none of these. He was friendly, thorough and helpful, especially with my more complicated situation. James, the manager that helped me with the loan details, was terrific. He did an excellent job helping me understand the ins and outs of financing in a very personalized way. Robert, the final person I worked with who finalized my paperwork, was extremely knowledgeable! He really helped me wrap my head around how credit scoring works and explained how I can rebuild my credit score in very simple terms. What a great experience! I recommend these guys 100%

James Mahin the salesman was friendly. But you need to be willing to walk out if they continue to try and get you into something you don’t want. Don’t show desperation or you’ll end up with something over priced you don’t like.

This place is a joke. I bought a 2005.5 Jetta here in 2008 that ended up costing $ 27,000 after all the schemes they pulled to inflate the price. The Sales Manager, Long Nyguen (sp?) sold me a 45,000 miles extended warranty for $ 1500. The car had 39k on it at the time of purchase. Two months later, my A/​C compressor blew, and Long says its not covered. The driver’s side window quit working shortly after, and Long says its not covered. So I spent my summer driving around a «certified» pre-​owned car with a $ 470 monthly payment, with no A/​C and no way to roll the window down. Awhile later, and thousands of miles before it was even close to due for its first timing chain service, the timing chain broke, and ruined the engine. I have it towed in to be repaired, and a few days later, the dealership calls and says it will $ 7,000 to fix my motor. It is then that I find out that the Sales manager lied to my face and sold me an extended warranty for only up TO 45,000 miles. My car had 39,000 when I bought it. Meaning Long Nyguen WILLINGLY DECEIVED ME and sold me 6,000 miles of warranty for $ 1,500. This also explains why he gave me the runaround about my previous issues. I explain my situation to the dealership and they offer to let me trade my car in and let me get something else so I can get back on the road, keep my job, and make my car payments. I am not really thrilled at the idea of getting even more upside down with these scammers, but I have no choice but to consider it. They tell me they will talk to someone higher up and take care of me because my case is so unusual and its not my fault and blah blah. A couple days later they call me and off me 500 bucks trade in for my car. WTF am I supposed to do with 500 freaking dollars? They tell me that this is all they can do for me. They sell me a POS, that was properly maintained to the letter, and inflate the purchase price by nearly $ 10k, sell me a false warranty, and refuse to honor anything they ever promised, let alone make the situation right So now my $ 27,000 Jetta has been sitting in my yard for months and months, while I grind out $ 470 car payments and pay insurance on the world’s most expensive lawn ornament, because I can’t afford the repair cost, and I had already refinanced my loan through my own bank shortly before my car died. Dick Hannah already has their money, so they don’t give a sh*t. People have told me that I should default, but I won’t, because I was brought up to believe that a man is only as good as his word and bond, and it was not my bank’s fault that Dicksaysyes, however, has no trace of honor, and is as corrupt, greedy, and merciless as any horror story you have ever heard of about a car dealership. Nobody in the entire Dick Hannah chain of dealerships could, or would help me in any way. They all just spend all their time making excuses and covering for each other’s lying butts. It is literally the most disgusting and vile experience I have EVER had with ANY business in my 34 years of living. I would not recommend Dick Hannah to anybody. Any dealership that openly condones misleading customers and charging them $ 1,500 for 6,000 miles of warranty, is obviously crooked.

We went to Dick Hannah in Vancouver and had THE WORST experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. The salesperson was AWFUL. She came over to us the second we got out of the car and started talking to my boyfriend about his car. Asking questions, etc. Had a whole conversation like I wasn’t there. The whole time, her behavior bordered on flirty.
He said that I was buying a car, not him. She looked at me once
and then turned to him and continued to ignore me.
We said what I was looking for: 2006 or newer, automatic, around $ 10k.
She took us to a 2005 car. I said no, 2006 or newer. She acted like
that was an impossible request (um NO… I’ve spent WEEKS looking
online and I know there are cars out there in my price range and year
range). She tried to pressure me to use their financing (which is
nothing new) and I just said no.
She said she had something at a different lot so we started walking
across the street. We got there and she showed me a $ 16k car. I looked at my boyfriend and said, «Let’s go. They don’t have anything here.»
She immediately got an attitude with me and commented that she doesn’t know EVERY car on their lot (isn’t that her job??). I said, «No, I
have no interest in seeing any more cars. You have not listened to a
single thing I’ve said. I said I want a 2006 or newer car and you showed me a 2005. I said I wanted it around $ 10k. You showed me a $ 16k car. You aren’t listening to me.»
She had even more of an attitude and said that in my price range I
won’t find what I’m looking for. I said «I’ve found dozens online.»
She asked if it was from individuals. «No, at dealerships.» She was
such a b*tch! I was just really f-​ing tired of being treated poorly.
So we left. I stormed out and we left. It was awful. DO NOT GO HERE!
