I sincerely and respectfully question if anyone giving a 5-​star review of Comcast is real, connected to the business, or received a freebie for writing. Anyone who’s been with this company knows they only use them because there is literally no other option. That being said, despite how awfully terrible Comast has and always will be, I’m making it clear that this review is about the Service Center.
No matter when I’ve visited this location, it’s been worse than waiting at the DMV. Not a friendly greeter ever, just someone talking to someone else who works there, both of which look up at you and wonder why you are bothering them. I could have written my name on the list myself if it was such an inconvenience.
Apparently they have this weird policy that they can’t shut off service via phone, and I had to go in to the Service Center. The guy actually did shut everything off. But here’s where I already predicted trouble: I paid my so-​called final balance but he said «You’ll receive another bill after today but just ignore it.» That’s not a good sign.
I did receive another bill. Usually our bills were around $ 70, but this one was for a random $ 117. Nothing added up or made sense. I returned to the location, wasting another evening of my life to be told by another unfriendly lady, «No that’s not your final balance, it should be $ 14 something.» What? I paid my final balance. «No that was just an estimate.» Um, my account is closed and done, how can you just estimate what a final balance is? «Just wait another few weeks and you’ll get this final bill.»
Again, I’m just pointing out my experience with THIS location. To wrap up the whole story, I ended up having to get on the phone with Customer Loyalty and found out that the final charges were «late fees» because I hadn’t paid the bills that I wasn’t supposed to receive from the Service Center’s mistakes anyway. When I worded it that way, they waved the fees because they realized how truly stupid this whole situation was.

Came in to return equipment cuZ went with direct tv and waited maybe 10 min. Gal who greeted me was incredibly nice and the gentleman who helped me was very kind. Appreciate the customer service aspect!

I went in to close my account, I had called but the rep told me I had to come in to the storefront close an account in my area. When I arrived they informed me that I couldn’t close my account in the store unless it was a Seattle store (where I had opened the account). I asked if I could at least pay my termination fee there, and the guy went in the back for a few minutes and when he came out he told me that they had waived over $ 100 in termination fees for my troubles. All I ended up owing was $ 1.76! Thank you Michael! You know how to treat your customers right!

Highly recommend Summer at this Comcast location. She was very informative, very kind, and very friendly.
Plus, her name is our favorite season!
Coming from Hawaii, we are used to great service, and she definitely provided just that.

HATE HATE this crappy company, worst company on this planet. I could write a novel on how crappy of a company this is from their customer service to the actual crap service. Choose another provider save yourself the headache and your time your going to waist dealing with these idiots because you will have to. I could go on and on but here I am again waisting more of my time on them, you get my point, WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET…

If your looking for home security through your smart phone don’t sign up for their system. I have never had so much anxiety. It very seldom works and it’s not worth what you pay. Do yourself a favor and shop for another company you have lots to choose from out there. It’s not like cable they have the monopoly on that, but not the security system. And as we all know Comcast gives you no deal !!! Shop around

Just moved to the area. After reading these reviews Comcast is the last thing I want to get into bed with. Any suggestions for better options?

Absolutely awful and ridiculous. Unfortunately as I have to keep the same non-​potable phone number for my business, I am stuck with them. From initial return of my call. Wait time on the line. Rude and indifferent customer service, not following up with installation updates, delayed installation with no phone or Internet for 4 days at my office, and surprise undisclosed fees, and relatively slow speeds, there is nothing Greta about this company. I wish tgere was a negative star rating for this company. Consumers are stick with these abusive monopolies of crappie companies. This is one big example of it. If I have any other way than being with Comcast, I would drop them right now. Bad bad bad business model. Customer service is almost non existent.

I wouldn’t even give them one star! Worst service provider ever. They charged my account and my wife’s card for the same payment so I call them to have one payment reversed and I get the run around. It took two days of me calling them to get this fixed! Definitely switching Internet providers. I for them and F–

Good grief, what a disaster. This place is a cattle call. You can’t get a quick answer to a quick question. You sign in at the front counter and sit for an eternity to speak to a human regarding your issue/​concern/​whatever. The place is always PACKED to the brim. Their phone customer service is atrocious, so maybe people think that live local customer service will serve them better. I’m not sure that’s the case, but I absolutely despise having to come here.

This isn’t a review for the service center and the staff that work there as I’ve never really had an issue with them, just the company they are working for. I’ve been putting up with Comcasts horrible service, outrageous prices and false advertising practices for far too long now and they have officially lost my business for good. Literally over night Comcast cut nearly half of my programming lineup without reducing my bill. Not only did they delete most of the channels from my package but they happen to be the only ones I watch, so now in order to get these channels back I’ll have to pay nearly $ 200/​mo and these are regular channels I’m talking about, nothing fancy, no premium movie channels, I hope this business burns.

If you, like me, must trade little pieces of your humanity for horrible Comcast Internet service, let me suggest that you avoid this physical manifestation of evil at all costs. Generally, the store can’t do anything for you that can’t be accomplished over the phone, in less time, with greater flexibility, and room for negotiation (customer retention dept). Sure, they can provide you with new/​exchange equipment on the spot, but buy your own modem, and have them mail you the other crap, instead of waiting in an hour long line.

Hey the service is great when it works. For paying for their best package you would think it would work. Staff if okay and polite if you don’t expect results or a real fix, you will like this company.
Highly recommended to all people still using carrier pigeons or smoke signals.
For $ 200 a month you to can have a ton of channels that some times works and blazing fast internet that often only dumps 3 to 5 times a day.

Never, ever, ever do business with these thieves. One month your rate is $ 39.99 and the next it’s $ 129.99. Do they let you know your bill is going to go up? NO. Don’t get me started on their service either. Worst. Company. Ever.
Go with Dish or Directv.

Ok the people in sorry are very nice especially Lori Peppers, but the service and customer service after u start is God awful. I spent well over an hour on the phone and the rep favorite phrase was «I do apologize, there is nothing I can do». I couldn’t believe it. I am just praying to God that there is a different service provider when I move out of my apartment.

Well, a little unsure about how much time I should spend on this. Service is moderate once the hoops of ‘bad connection/​service’ are worked through. Customer care center is nice, but limited in how they can help. After several pontificating comments, with a titch of condescension, I could not find an answer to my questions in billing. My time is worth more than this bill, but, buyer beware.

Jesus everloving CHRIST. This place was insanity. I was expecting a line, but I couldn’t have expected what I witnessed. If you have time to read this warning, do whatever you can to have Comcast send a tech out. Just DO IT.
I brought my box in to be switched out because it wasn’t working. I waited for a solid 1.5 hours (with no expectation on time when I did check in) JUST to switch out my box. Only for them to tell me that they didn’t have any and they would need to send out a tech.
Some crazy old man screamed what we were all thinking «IS EVERYBODY ON BREAK?» because the reps seemingly disappeared for 10 – 20 mins it seemed like. Each transaction took literally 20 minutes, just for people to pay their bill. And then people whine about how long they’ve been waiting, so they escalate their place in line. Hows about you let us patient people go first since we’ve been sitting here NOT throwing a tantrum?
Get your shit together Comcast. For realisies.

I wish I could give this location 0 stars. Complete negativity from the moment you walk through the door. The «greeter» looks severely depressed and borderline suicidal. The wait is outrageous, the energy in there is awful and of course Comcast couldn’t care less about anyone but their bottom line. I bet when they read this review they’ll just laugh and smile… I submitted a few official complaints and this is the message I received back:
