I am terrified of the dentist and avoided dealing with a needed root canal for a couple years. Dr Kosa had to do two procedures on a previously done root canal by someone else. Not only did he make it so that I was comfortable but he even called to see how I was doing the next day. Ive had doctors offices call to check up on you but never the doctor themself. If you have to have a root canal, you couldnt be treated better than Dr Kosa at Columbia endodontics!

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this Doctor and staff. Dr. Mehlhaff was extremely helpful in explaining my root canal. He took his time to really care about me being scared about the whole thing. I was surprised at how really painless it was. His staff is caring about the whole comfort of your visit. Great experience. Thank you very much and a happy camper I am.

Do NOT go here. I was referred here by Kaiser for what was a somewhat complicated root canal. The dentist, Dr. Overby not only botched the job… sending me into a year of $ 13,000 worth of dental implant work… his manner was abrupt and unprofessional and I would have sued this group had their connection to Kaiser not been so strong. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. DONOTGOHERE, THEYWILLRIPYOUOFFANDSCREWUPYOURCREDIT. They sent me to collections over a $ 38 charge for missing an appointment that I didn’t need in the first place. Basically I had to get a tooth vitality test after an injury(essentially they put ice on your tooth to see if you can feel, it. I can do that at home if I need to, don’t need a frickin’ doctor to tell me that). Anyway, I got one and even though the doctor screwed up during the procedure and broke a piece of dry ice off in my mout, I could feel it so the tooth was fine. They still scheduled me for a followup even though I insisted I didn’t need one: why pay for them to do a test I can do at home on my own. Anyway they scheduled it for when I was already going to be at school. They called me before the appt and left a message, I never called back or showed up. Never heard from them again. 4 years later I pull my credit report and low and behold they friggin’ sent me to collections for a measily $ 38 for DOINGNOTHING!!! Now I’m trying to get my otherwise perfect credit report rid of this one blemish because some cheap ass company decided to send me to collections over nothing instead of actually contacting me. SHAMEONYOUCOLUMBIAENDODONTICSGROUP. I hope you all need emergency root canals that aren’t covered by insurance and the anesthesiologist doesn’t show up that day.
