Our training includes skills valuable in daily life: cooperation, respect, self-​control, focus, and confidence. We know from experience that training in Tae Kwon Do helps students in their personal and professional life. The positive character traits that develop will help them at work and school, at home and on the playing field. Contributing to our community is a natural extension of improving each student’s life. Happier, more confident students lead to happier families, which lead to more cohesive communities. In addition, our schools continually seek out opportunities to contribute to our community, including self-​defense seminars, charity fundraisers, and educational demonstrations.

History

Established in 1995.

Best U. S Tae Kwon Do was first opened in Anaheim, CA 1995, by Grand Master Kyeong S, Han a certified 7th Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a black belt in Hapkido and Gumdo. Grand Master Han & his family moved to Vancouver, WA in 2003 where he opened the current Taekwondo training center, now named, Han’s World Class Taekwondo Academy. Grand Master Han holds the role of, Former President of Oregon State Tae Kwon Do (TKDAA), he is also very devoted and interested in the development in the community, Grand master Han is the Vice President of the Korean American Society of Vancouver and he places importance on the values of the younger generations and a good foundation for success in the community, he serves as the church youth group leader at Vancouver Lord’s church. Grand Master Han prides himself in the Korean Art of self-​defense which has several hundreds of years of rich and influential culture and tradition.

Grand Master Han began training in Taekwondo in 1980 in Seoul, Korea. During his training he has trained in various other Korean martial arts as his requirement.
