Dr. Pettet specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with health problems of the musculoskeletal system and treats the effects of those problems on the nervous system and on general health. Many treatments deal specifically with the spine and the manipulation of the spine, but Dr. Pettet also treats extremity injuries that range from carpal tunnel to ankle injuries and most joints in between. Chiropractic is based on the principle that spinal joint misalignments interfere with the nervous system and can result in lower resistance to disease and many different conditions of diminished health.

In addition to general chiropractic practice, Dr. Pettet is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® and specializes in sports injuries, as well as pediatric issues and nutrition.

His approach to healthcare focuses on the patient’s overall health. Chiropractors provide natural, drugless, nonsurgical health treatments, relying on the body’s inherent recuperative abilities.

History

Established in 2001.

Originally a Vancouver, WA. native, Dr. Pettet left after high school to travel the world courtesy of the U.S. Marine Corps. Along the way there were many injuries and recoveries, many of which involved chiropractic care. As he prepared for retirement from the Marine Corps, he was studying for his bachelor of science in human biology and decided to continue on to a career in chiropractic. He finished his B.S. in human biology and then his Doctor of Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland OR. in 2001.
