ahh yes. …van wert ohio… an epicurean oasis in a sea of corn fields… NOT. this is your basic anytown mexican joint. had carnitas. they were good but not great. Service was good and if you find yourself in van wert stop by here. it’s conveniently located next to the two hotels in town.

Beer was cold and the food was hot. Had the chorripollo with beans and rice. Loved the combined flavor of the chorizo and grilled chicken. Were pretty skimpy on the beans, but everything else was sufficient. Service was very quick and friendly. Will definitely go back if in Van Wert again.

I was excited to try this place after learning that they have 60oz margaritas! UM WHAT? AWESOME! And they really were delicious (& strong). The food was pretty good too.
Our server was very nice and a little flirty. I’m one of those weird ppl who tip better if you playfully flirt. It shows your engaged with the table, and not there to throw food on the table and get you out. So our server got an A+
The bathroom was clean, the menus weren’t sticky, the tables weren’t sticky; overall, happy experience.
Try the burrito California.

Good location near the hotel.
Food was pretty good but not fantastic. I ordered the enchiladas to go. They came with a very generous amount of chips and salsa. The meal was large as well. I could not finish it.
The most impressive attribute was the speed of the order. They were faster than a fast food restaurant!
The staff was clean and friendly.
I would eat here again.

I believe a 3 is deserved if not a horrible experience. And this place isn’t as bad as the reviews above.
Grant it, I had chips and guac with a cheese quesadilla and all was great. The service was perfect. Not rushed, but knew when to check on me while watching the game.
Only spent about 30 mins here, but will be back as I pass by often
