I needed a smog check and I live in Malibu. My girlfriend told me to head to the valley and go to Van Nuys Union 76 to get it done. She said the price would be right and I wouldn’t have to wait like I have in the past. She was right, it took no time and everything went nice and smoothly. It was worth the trip.

I take my cars to this place every time for a SMOG inspection and have had nothing but good experiences. The guys are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are always careful handling my ’79 Volvo. I recommend them highly! You won’t find any station more reasonable that’s a Star testing place which DMV requires on older cars.
As a matter of fact, my best friend is driving up from Malibu to get her car SMOG tested there now.

I’ve used this place several times over the years. However, the last time after My car passed a test, the tester slammed my car’s hood far too hard and broke an expensive piece of the grill and took no responsibility for it. I had to pay an extra $ 100 to replace the grill part. I confronted him about it but he would do nothing to assume responsibility even though he saw the piece break off with me there. I would not go back again.
