What can i say probably the best tool shop in the valley. They take care of you and treat you like family. There a small ma and pa shop but there ambience and there friendly character make them top notch. There quality of work is great. I always bring me tools here and trust them with my life. They do alot of work for big company’s and well over all they do quality jobs for fair prices. The people are great too.

Before the new year I found my Makita drill stopped working. I looked in the manual and found that the brushes go bad periodically due to extended use. I was going to replace the brushes myself but found it somewhat complicated to pull them out. I took the drill to TJ Tool Repair because Bucknall Power Tool Service was too busy to take a look at it. I walked in the shop which was disgusting and dirty, not at all in order and I proceeded to show the owner of the shop the drill which I had opened at home. He took a quick 2 second, and I mean 2 – 3 seconds, and he told me it the motor was destroyed. I asked him if he was certain and he said it would cost more to fix then for me to go buy a new $ 99 drill at home depot and that it was trash. I said thanks for your time and went directly to HD to buy a new drill. Bought one and while I was there took the«trash» drill into to the repair desk there at the North Hollywood HD shop. He told me that if it cost more than $ 100 that they would call me, otherwise they would fix it without calling me for any repair that cost less than $ 100. Took my new drill home and continued my daily fixes. A month later HD called me telling me that my Makita is fixed and that I owed them a whopping $ 15. I noticed that TJ sold used equipment and after paying $ 15 for my old drill couldn’t help but think that he had hoped I’d give him my old drill and make some money off of an inexperienced repair person. If not that then his customer service blows chunks. I now have two drills. I guess a man can never have too many drills.
