This location serves the Los Angeles Valley including, Van Nuys, Burbank, Calabasas, Glendale, La Canada, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Pasadena, Lennox, Ventura and surrounding cities in the L.A. area.

History

Established in 1963.

Since 1963 Star has supplied Los Angeles restaurants, bars, markets, bakeries, coffee shops, institutions, schools, celebrities, religious organizations, corporate dining facilities and home kitchens with the food service industry’s best in preparation equipment and related products. In December, 2012, Star Restaurant Equipment & Supply Co., was acquired by Chef’s Toys which has become the leader in Restaurant Equipment sales in the southern California marketplace. The company employs over 140 staff (including trained chefs), has over 20 commercial trucks, and has 6 consistently designed retail stores in southern California (including Star), and a new large 34,000 square foot distribution center, offering over 9,000 products and supplies for chefs and foodservice operators.
