Kyle is great and truly a lover of dogs who’s primary goal is to make sure dogs are placed in the right home — not just any home!
We rescued our bullmastiff from him and the entire process was amazing.
Several years later when we attempted to foster to adopt again it didn’t work out. Kyle was SO understanding. There was no shaming and no guilt. He was able to see that the second dog actually needed to be in a 1 pet home. He brought the dog back to is rescue and was able to place her in a home that was more suited to her needs. Again — he doesn’t find «any home» for a dog — he finds the right home.
He is very hard working and can be hard to get a hold of, but that’s only because his primary responsibility is to his dogs. If you’re looking to rescue a mastiff or bully breed this is a great place to check out.

I am deeply saddened to see the photos of these poor dogs. What kind of rescue calls themselves SMASH FACE? That should say it all.
This guy Kyle has no clue how to train dogs. He is abusive and should be ashamed of himself. These animals have no voice and Kyle uses their silence to secretly harm them. Do NOT help this disgusting person. This is a business to him. A money maker. That’s all he cares about.

I contacted this person via facebook messenger to inquire about a pit bull I was interested in adopting. This person initially responded and gave me a phone number to call. However when I called to chat about the dog, he never returned my call. I tryed to express interest in the dog through

no longer loads the dog profile. It seems just a little sketchy. It is too bad as I would have loved to have that boy as part of my pack.

adopting a rescue is not like getting a Can of food from the shelf… reading all comments and reviews… i must say people have a deluded picture of rescue… parvo is highly contagious it can be picked up from a shelter, dog park or street… its the duty of every adopter to have a Vet visit aligned after adopting a puppy or dog.
I’m a Dog professional my self can only confirm the quality and integrity of Kyle Schwab. Getting a dog from a rescue professional is a NO BRAINER

I highly recommend this guy, really cares about the dogs he rescues. He rescues the larger more intimidating breeds with a little one thrown in the mix sometimes.
When it seems like it’s a throw away society where animals are concerned nowadays, he hangs in there until problem solved.
You never know what’s the history on the dogs you rescue and if they have ever had any medical done. This poor guy has got some dogs from shelters in the past and present with some major medical needed, but he doesn’t throw them away, he solves the problem if he can.
Most people would euthanize them. So there’s no telling what’s going on with the past history of that animal bottom line.

We adopted a puppy from this guy 2010, yes he was quite charming and a good talker. The puppy was very calm quiet and we thought it was too good to be true. A day later the puppy started to get very sick from both ends. We took her to our vet and the puppy had advanced parvo. I am not the first, there are many others who were taken by this guy Kyle Schwab.

I adopted a puppy that was ½ Corgi and ½ Pomeranian from Smash face in 2010. His siblings were up for adoption too. I would have taken the whole litter if I could have. The rescue named our pup him «Ducky» and it just wasn’t fitting. We named our pup Coby because he looked more like a Corgi than a Pom…“Coby the Corgi.” His two other siblings looked like fluffy Pomeranians and Coby and his other brother looked more like Coby.
I LOVE my dog! He just turned two years old and he is the smartest little dog. He knows over 20 commands and tricks! He even sits on his butt and plays patty cakes with me. So smart! I would like to thank Smash face for rescuing my little guy so that we could adopt him. He has truly changed our (my fiancé and I) lives. This rescue group is amazing and when we are ready to rescue a second dog, I will definitely be coming back here.

I adopted a Shih Tzu mix from Smashface in 2010. He and his brother were being adopted out that day. Both were healthy. I took my Max to my vet and he was just fine. You can view Max on You Tube by the way. Max the singing dog and dancer. Kyle was very nice as was his crew. I give him kudos for all he does for these dogs that need homes.
