just got a huge canvas stretched here and they did a fantastic job. Price was fair, work looks great, it was ready a day earlier than projected, and since it was so large that it wouldn’t fit in my car, they delivered it to my place (an extra charge, but totally reasonable). will be going to them with all of my framing needs.

Monarch has been my go to framer for years. Over the years I’ve come across some great account representatives, and the owners is always on-​site and in touch with the clients. Recently, I’ve been working with Annie Parkowski, what a delight! She’s not only proficient, but she’s quick and very friendly. Everyone who works here has a great attitude, it’s nice to see that at a business, where you can walk in and feel so comfortable knowing you’re treated so well.

Monarch does great work. I first saw giclees done for the artist Synthia Saint James. I had seen her original paintings in her studio and was amazed at how lovely the reproductions were that Monarch created. I highly recommend Monarch for printing fine art.

Called for an estimate. I said I have many pieces to frame, dimensions are blah blah (LARGE). Wanted a very simple black frame, posters mounted on simple linen. She refused to give me ANY pricing ideas. Said I had to come in… that there was nothing she could tell me over the phone. I have been having art framed in Los Angeles for 13 years. REALLY? you can’t give me an estimate on a simple black frame when I give you dimensions?
I repeated that I just wanted a simple inexpensive frame, black, basic. I gave dimensions. She inturruppeted «AS I SAID BEFORE… YOU HAVE TO COME IN»
Not sure what their work is like… but I won’t find out because of whomever answered the phone.
