Mister Station

They over charge for an oil change. I thought going to the actual Honda dealership for an oil change was going to be the most expensive route but, then I called this place. 60 something dollars for a simple oil change when Honda, only does it for half that price plus they wash the exterior part of your car. They try to use the whole «this is a special Honda oil we are using» all I have to say to that is they just lost a customer. Even Firestone doesn’t charge that much, that’s telling you something.

This shop out does themselves every time. They look at every possible thing in order to pinpoint the problem (which doesn’t take long) instead of making you pay for a bunch of things they might think it is. They invest in their customers and their service is outstanding. Karlos knows his stuff and I wouldn’t trust many others with my car

Best place ever for Honda vehicles or any vehicle for that matter! I went to dealership first thing this morning (Kolbe Honda) and they pitched a very drawn out story of how it will take the entire day maybe 2 to get my car looked at. And I remember my mom ranting and raving how great Mister Station is. And she was right! Took me right away! Customer service AMAZING! The mechanics are super friendly and explain everything clearly. They also don’t haggle and try to sell you what you don’t need! I was in and out! I will never bring my 2 Hondas anywhere else!!!

They have a big sign out front that says «We Service Honda’s» and yep, here is the pic they put up on this page themselves. hahaha. Can’t make a plural? I laugh every time I drive by.

Ever since I’ve taken my car to Mister Station, I have felt a night and day difference with my Honda Accord. Karlos is the best I’ve seen for doing proper diagnostics to find the root cause of the problem. He also always takes the time to explain the problem and how he is going to fix it which I really appreciate. He is the master of Honda repair in my opinion. I took my car to Karlos because of a blown head gasket — my car now runs better than it did before! Their prices are also very fair and reasonable. Overall, the one thing that I love the most about Karlos and Mister Station is that I never have to go back to the shop for the same problem as before. Every time I leave the shop I feel confident that my car was fixed correctly for the right price. If you need repair with your Honda, I highly recommend Karlos and The Mister Station staff. He won’t disappoint!

This place ROCKS, I live in Downtown Los Angeles and I will drive or tow my 2006 Honda Element here, I would not trust anyone else to touch my car, my car has been used to teach teens from under serve communities how to drive, it has almost 300,000 miles and still in great shape thanks to Carlos and his team
He replaced my transmission and when I need a new engine I will go to him also !
He has integrity something that is hard to find now a days.
He takes pride on his work and always goes the extra mile!

I had seen this place many times as I passed it on Saticoy. I knew my Honda was in need of work. I was advised to leave my car there so they can do a complete evaluation, big mistake. They charged me $ 100 just to evaluate it, but told me over the phone that they needed to conduct some test. When I came to pick up my car the owner Carlos told me he would have my car up and running and good for the next five years. The estimate I was given amounted to close to $ 3,500.
The owner sat and talked to me himself going over all the things I was experiencing with the car. The estimate he quoted me $ 3500 included a charge of timing belt for $ 600, possible rear main seal $ 550.
I explained to a good friend the estimate I was given by the owner and he stated this is very high estimate. I took my car to another mechanic and showed him the estimate I was given, who said this guy’s (Carlos or Karlos) charges were robbery. I thought I would be able to trust this shop as they list themselves as «Honda Specialist». I don’t doubt that they have alot of experience and knowledge on hondas. I just couldn’t tust them to be fair and honest with me regarding prices.
The moral of this story… don’t believe or buy into everything someone tells you, get several estimates. Get referals from other people, friends, family. I don’t undersand why people do this. Not everyone lives by good morals or business ethics.

I went in to have Karlos look at my Honda as I was getting ready to sell it. What I got was great advice on how to handle it given the issues that I was facing with the car. Karlos was direct, honest, and not truly inch to work me for my business. It’s hard to find trustworthy experts in your car but if you’re a Honda owner you have one here.

Karlos is friendly, cares about his work, and won’t trick you into a service your car doesn’t need.
Dropped off my car for a sensor replacement (his hourly rate is $ 80), was given a ride home to Sherman Oaks by one of his staff, and came back at 6p to pick it up.
I have immediately noticed a drastic improvement in the car’s idling RPM’s; it’s smooth, and keeps a constant flow throughout the engine. He also replaced a couple screws from the valve cover that were over-​torqued before I came here, and calibrated the valves in the engine.
I like the idea of having a mechanic I can trust and come to, and I know I have found the place.

Bring your cars here. Clean shop, honest evaluation, fast service. Great employees. A great asset in the community.

Carlos!!! He’s amazing. He went out of his way to make sure we got our car back quickly — same day — and even stayed late to do it. The price was more than fair, especially considering the car runs better than it has in years (98 CRV). If you drive a Honda, don’t take it anywhere else!

If you have a Honda I highly recommend these guys. They’re honest and reasonable. Karlos owns the business. He’s a nice guy and really seems to care about doing quality work.
It’s tough to find an honest auto mechanic who does quality work. I’m glad I found Karlos.

I came to this place based on how close it was to my house and because of the positive reviews it has and I must say that if I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Carlos is the magic man here! He has a heart of gold and is sooo personal with you. He doesn’t just treat you like a customer but as someone he has known for a while. He drove my car and asked me about the problems it was having and I explained everything. He asked questions like a doctor to pinpoint the issue and noticed the issue I was having by just driving the car. He charged me a more than fair price and left my car impeccable! He then drove it with me again and told me what was done to the car to fix the issue. Carlos is awesome!!! Great guy, great place and great service!!! I will definitely be going back here for my Honda needs again! A+ to Mister Station and A+ to Carlos! He is the man!

Took my car in yesterday (03−27−13) spoke with Carlos. He answered every questioned I asked with detail. Dropped off my car today for a diagnosis told me I’ll 3−4hrs. So I’ll just wait until they call me. Ill be back with and update.

I am a little old lady in my 60’s. It took me a year or two to stop in to this little shop in my neighborhood. The day I did I had a problem with the windows of my 1994 Accord rolling up and down very (VERY) slowly. I thought I needed new window actuators or whatever… I knew it was going to be expensive. The boss came right out, rolled the windows up and down, went into the shop and came out with a spray can of something. As we talked about other problems I was experiencing with my old car gradually petering out KARLOS, the OWNER, just kept going from window to window spraying and rolling up and down. He looked at my windshield wipers and gave them a squirt because I told him the motor for my wipers was unreliable. He LISTENED to everything I said and looked at this and looked at that. When he finished he said «Try that.» Windows ran up and down just fine! Then he said «You don’t need a windshield wiper motor… I just lubed it and it will be fine now.» And they were. I gulped as I asked him what I owed him. He gave me that brilliant grin of his and said «Nothing. Just come see me whenever you have a problem.» I will never go to anyone else as long as KARLOS owns Honda Station. HONEST AND PERSONAL SERVICE.
By the way; I saw KARLOS yesterday when the key got stuck in my ignition and I could not get it out. After he tried to talk me through it over the phone and it wouldn’t budge he said «Come right on over…» and I did. He got the key out easy as pie, NO CHARGE.

Carlos has been taking care of my civic for the past four years and I can’t say how greatful I am to have a mechanic like him. Always charges me fair prices and keeps my car running perfectly even after 300,000 miles. He does everything from regular maintenance to engine work and even little odds and ends that come up on high mileage cars like mine. A thousand thanks Carlos.

So today i went to take my car there for some weird noise i was having for my 98 civic. I brought my car there 8am and Carlos was very helpfull to take a look at my car and do a ride along so he would know where he can start. Its a nice place to for my first time there.

I am from Orange County so when my 2011 Honda CRV did not start while in the Valley over the weekend, I was rather troubled. After getting a jump from Geico roadside service — which was great — I drove to Honda Station. i was going to go to the Honda dealership but my experience with dealers is they take all day and will charge you through the nose. Long story short I stopped in at Honda Station and they helped me right away, eventually replacing my battery. They suggested that I have my battery and alternator tested but short on time I went ahead and just bought a new battery. All the guys were great and they did not try to pressure me to do anything i did not mention. I ended up driving back to the OC for the week but over this last weekend my battery died again. I went back to Honda Station and Carlos and his team jumped right on my issue and determined it was likely a bad compressor relay that was draining my battery. They went ahead and gave me a brand new battery in case the one they sold me was bad and they pulled the relay and suggested i try driving for a week to see if that was the problem (i forgot to mention that they ran a battery and alternator test and determined both were in great working order).
At the moment i feel I was treated great — did not have to spend $ 400 bucks for a new alternator I did not need and can drive my car for a few days to make sure we know what’s wrong with it.
I really think these guys are great, fair and honest. Don’t let the fact that its a little shop get in the way of bringing your car there. You will get timely, accurate and competitive service at the Honda Station.

I took my car in for an oil change… and while I cannot PROVE it, my car was returned to me with a damaged bumper… which was not there when I dropped it off. Even though the damaged paint was flaking and falling off to just my blowing on it, the owner assured me it was a very old problem. And by very old I am sure he meant about an hour.
