Mariscos Puerto Plata

I would give them no stars if I could. Ordered 5 Plates breaded Shrimp burnt 2 Shrimps a la plancha not only were they burnt they were smashed, the fajitas 5 pieces of shrimp & a lot a lot!!! of veggies, Carne Asada Quesadilla chewy n greasy, Dried out Beans n Rice, barely open n it’s a disgrace. Really expensive place bitched out the manager and only paid for my drinks. Walked out WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

Very expensive, and the food isn’t all that great. The place looks nice but since the food isn’t good and prices are to high I will not be there ever again.

Mariscos Puerto Plata. wait a min, isn’t Perto Plata in the Domnican Republic? Why is there nly Mexican food on the menu? Came in for some mariscos (seafood) and beer but neither was available. The place is so dead that when i walked into the restroom the janitor was surprised t see an actual customer. Totally not what i was expecting but the food deserves 2 thumbs up. New flat screen tvs and a state of the art jukebox that plays almost ever genre. This place has potential

We had dinner at the new local Mexican and Seafood restaurant. It opened in the old «Valley Ranch BBQ» location. It was quite good and quite reasonable. We were immediately served chips and salsa, which were good, and a sort of fish stock soup that had good flavor and a nice kick. We ordered a «small» shrimp cocktail that was much larger than we had anticipated and very flavorful. I ordered a steak burrito and the steak was tender. It lacked salt and I did add cilantro and tapatillo, but it was very large and I took half home. My husband had an asada taco and a pescado taco, both of which were good but the fish needed some lime and tapatillo. All in all a very good meal and we will definitely go again. We’d like to see this restaurant flourish as the owners put a great deal of time and money into opening it.
