The people here seem like if they have a stick up their ass!
Like if you don’t like your job that’s your fault change it don’t give me attitude because you don’t want to be there and work

Security guards in front are ignorant private security!!! They don’t help by answering questions and are hardheaded when anyone asks a second question or tells them that the sign in front contradicts what they’re saying!
YES!!!

The Federal Government is contracting out security of its buildings to
PRIVATE companies!!!
Too bad I can’t give ZERO STARS!!!

Upon arrival, the dreaded sign stating that all tickets for today had been issued was on display outside the door. (You line up to the left side of where the James C Corman wording is on the bldg.) However, there was still a short line of people waiting. A really nice, helpful employee came out to ask what each person needed. For payments, he was telling people to come back early tomorrow morning. He suggested getting on line at 6 am even though they open at 8:30 am.
For transcripts, stamped returns and the like, he told everyone else to line up in front of the door to go through the scanner thingy and head into the IRS office. Whole thing took 30 minutes from parking (found a metered spot) to leaving with what I needed.
You cannot make an appointment in advance so I can see how annoying it can be if you line up early to make a payment plan only to be told to come back the next day. Ugh. Well, I suggest you TRY making a payment plan over the phone or pay online… yes, you have to put up with ½ hour or more hold times, but these other methods save you from driving and waiting on a line only to be told to come back.

this location has street metered parking as well as a parking lot across the street (i believe it was a $ 4 or $ 6 daily max if you have to be here for a long duration i suggest this option)
There is also residential areas nearby if you do not mind parking there and walking a long ways but do bare in mind the posted parking restrictions!
***Be careful because the parking enforcement does make their rounds and they do ticket the meters that have expired!***
my experience with all the employes in my visit were all under good impressions and i would def recommend this location opposed to the building in Tokyo town unless you are near the el monte office then that would also be recommended.
Due to the no appt. factor, i would recommend coming before they open (i came half an hour before and there was a long line) just so that you can be in the batch that will be let in for the day, I had previously arrived at the other two locations i mentioned around 11am and was told to try again the following day.
