Business Owner

Ryan Afromsky is Managing Partner for Advanced Green Solutions. While Ryan was in college, he came up with an idea for a grilled cheese concept restaurant. Following his graduation and a few years of working in restaurants led Ryan to a dream turned into reality. What was once a picture of a grilled cheese sandwich in a magazine, soon turned into a restaurant in Culver City, CA called meltDOWN etc. At just 26, Ryan built the restaurant into an overnight success even before the doors opened. The buzz alone garnered media interest and exposure with Ryan appearing in numerous print articles and on TV. meltDOWN etc was a cheese-​lovers dream that served the ultimate comfort food. Although the restaurant did not sustain the economic downturn, it proved a valuable learning experience.
