Established in 1979.

We have been in Business in the Los Angeles and surrounding Valley areas since 1979 and have been Licensed by the State of California to build and repair Pools, Spas & Hot Tubs since 1979. The owner, Steve Richards is past chairman of the Consumer Protection Committee for the National Spa and Pool Institute. We have been awarded Gold Medal and First Place Design Awards by NSPI and at the Annual Western Pool & Spa Show.

The majority of our business is related to the repair of Spas, Hot Tubs and Pools, and to the maintenance of Spas and Hot Tubs.

Business Owner

Steve has been a licensed California contractor (State Lic.# C-​53 384 376) in the Pool and Spa Construction, Service and Repair industry since 1979. He is past Chairman of the Consumer Protection Committee for the International Spa and Hot Tub Institute and has won numerous Design awards from the National Pool and Spa Institute as well as the Western Pool and Spa show. His extensive experience in the Pool and Spa industry makes him an expert in pool and spa service and repair, which his company now specializes in. He takes great pride in always serving the needs of his clients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.

My spa has been out of use and completely neglected for at least 5 years, and I genuinely believed it may not come back, but I was proven wrong. I called up Aardvark and spoke with Steven Richards. He was extremely polite and kind on the phone and agreed to come out the next day to give an estimate and start work. When he arrived, he estimated 2 appointments, but he got it all done in one day. He arrived, assessed the situation, and immediately came to be with information. He explained everything that needed to be done and why, and kept me in the loop throughout the day as he discovered new things. He made sure to talk to me before doing anything, and he did an AMAZING JOB. It looks as good as new and runs perfectly. He also agreed to do the ongoing maintenance for it. The prices are very reasonable and you couldn’t ask for better service. I give my full recommendation here and say look no further. you wont find this service at these prices anywhere else!

I called several other companies hoping to find someone honest and reliable to come fix a leak and clean my very old outdoor hot tub. I am so happy I found Steve – he was honest, did not try to up-​sell us, instead he did a great job diagnosing the leak issue and took special care to service the tub which probably had not been so thoroughly cleaned for years. We are very impressed with Steve’s service and recommend him without reservation. He did the work for a fair price and now there is no longer a leak and the hot tub works great!

My spa pump stopped moving water and I received an estimate from this company. Steve was trustworthy and helpful as we talked over the situation over the phone. In fact I had him go into my backyard to fix the spa when I was not there (wife was there to oversee) and he rebuilt the pump as he indicated he would within the price rangee he gave me over the phone. Would highly recommend him if you have spa problems and I will use him again when things come up again with my spa.
