It’s unfortunate to give an abysmal rating, but Mike completely left us hanging by missing our scheduled appointment without any prior or post contact whatsoever. Tried contacting him several times to no avail. Blowing off customers is not a very good way to do business.

My central air stopped working this spring, went to local empire hardward, the got me in touch with a a.c. person, he looked at the unit and told us it was shot. I foundA Subcool AC on Unilocal.Mike came out, looked at the unit. He went to work and fixed it. He is very profession, nice and very good. I highly recommend. Mike of Subcool Air Conditioning is honest. He deserves more than five stars. Wow, I am incredibly impressed!
Other HVAC companies, including the company that has had a maintenance contract with me for a few years, told me my unit had to be replaced after it stopped working during a June heat wave. No one else even attempted to repair it.
Smartest thing I did was open the windows and take my time getting multiple estimates. Mike took a look at the unit and said, I can repair this for $ 300. I asked if the repair would be a temporary fix and he said no, it is a long term fix. Mike saved me from spending $ 10,000 on a new hvac system.
Kudos for a job well done!

It’s taken a while to write this review, but I figured I should wait to see how the A/​C held up through the summer.
My A/​C died during a 112-​degree Valley Summer night. The next day, I called A Subcool Air Conditioning as soon as they opened. I didn’t expect anyone to be available, but they said they would send someone out in the next few hours. Two hours later, a guy checked out my A/​C and fixed it. I was pretty happy… until the unit went out again. I called the company back and they sent out the same guy after 6pm. Again, he fixed my unit, but wanted extra $$ for driving back out to me (we ended up compromising).
Although I’m super happy that my A/​C was fixed AND that they were very responsive during one of the busiest times of the year, I was a little annoyed that they didn’t fix the unit the first time and then wanted me to pay extra for the follow up visit.
All in all a very experience.

I needed some work done on my chiller unit in my condo and there were so many repairmen that turned me down but not this company. Many do not work on that type of unit anymore which is surprising in this area. I called and they reached out to me offering to come that same day. It was fixed at a reasonable price and at a reasonable pace. I would certainly recommend this company to any friend and family member and for sure if there are any problems with my AC unit I will certainly be calling this company again (hopefully not soon).

Thank you Ara! Our air conditioning went out in the middle of a heat wave, not cool. We called Ara and he came out the same day, literally in less than an hour. He fixed our AC for a reasonable price and we were quickly back in the nice cool AC filled house. Always good to find an honest and reliable company to use, thank you Ara.

A contractor friend referred to Ara at A Subcoolas someone who is both honest and very skilled. Although A Subcool specializes in larger commercial and industrial jobs, he was happy to work on my residential unit. I was delighted with the service he provided. Despite the fact I called him during a heatwave and his busiest time of year, Ara came out the same day, He quickly replaced the needed parts and my A/​C was working like new in no time. I would highly recommend A Subcool to anyone in need of air conditioning installation or repairs.

My very first Unilocal review goes to this wonderful outfit. Excellent service and superior workmanship. Yesterday, Ara and Gary finished a unique installation of a minisplit Fujitsu system in our 500 sq ft upstairs area. Professionally and quickly completed at a very fair price. While other a/​c companies expressed reluctance to take our job, A Subcool promptly came out, surveyed the layout, and provided a bid price well below a host of price gougers. They even repaired some electrical issues unrelated to our job. My wife and I are extremely pleased with everything. Buy with confidence!

Well during the big August heatwave I got back from our Vacation to find that the air conditioning had broken. Many companies were to busy to call me back or when I did reach hem they told me they couldn’t get to me for a few days. Then I called Subcool, and Ara came by in less than and hour and had it working in 15 minutes. Fixed what was wrong and charged a fair price, I couldn’t have been more satisfied.
