I called A/​D Air Condition and Heating after seeing their truck and reading the reviews on Unilocal.They were able to come out to my house within a day to check my heating and air conditioning system. Rick called to say he was on the way, and was very punctual. He explained everything thoroughly and changed 2 parts. Great customer service, I highly recommend both Rick and A/​D and would use them again.

If there were a «10» rating I would give it. My air conditioning went out during this horrible heatwave. I called them early in the morning before they were even open and a live answering service took my call and said someone would get back to me. Within a half hour, the owner, Ari, called me and told me that he was on his way into the shop, would check the schedule and get someone to me as soon as possible. He also promised to call me back within 30 minutes and kept his promise.
I was told that someone would arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 AM (the business opens at 9:30). By 9AM Rick had arrived. Like Ari, he was friendly and personable and set right to work to figure out what was wrong, explaining everything along the way and inviting me to look at exactly how he was testing to find out what was wrong. He had to leave briefly to get a part for the final fix but took the time to get everything working temporarily before he left.
Rick returned, checked everything out and had me up and running soon afterward. I was so impressed with him and with the company that I signed up for the regular maintenance plan.
So, I can recommend A/​D highly — fast, knowledgeable service from an excellent repair technician from a company owned by someone who really cares about his business and his customers.

A/​D air conditioning were fabulous! I wish all services were as punctual, reliable and trustworthy as they are. I received calls telling me when they were on their way both times. When they arrived, they quickly determined the problem and repaired it quickly and reasonably. I would highly recommend them

A/​D Air Conditioning does a great job with both their routine maintenance and repair. They arrive at reasonable times and will be in and out as quick as possible and they do the job right every time. They also have very reasonable prices compared to other A.C. companies. I have never had a bad experience and have never had any A.C. or heating problems while under the care of A/​D.

A/​D Air Conditioning and Heating replaced our thirty year old units in our West Hills home. Ari was very helpful in making the correct choice for our home; his staff were curteous, efficient and cleaned up. When I had problems with a thermostat they fixed it right away. I give them rave review!

I purchased a unit through AD airconditioning about 5 years ago and am happy with it. I call them to check and service my system once a year and generally have a positive experience with their technicians. The last time I called them, though the technicians were almost 4 hours late, which would have been okay if they had called and kept me apprised of their schedule and apologized once they finally arrived. The technician, Oscar, that showed up was in a very bad mood– obviously having a bad day and unfortunately taking it out on his customers. I was very shocked and unhappy with Oscars’ attitude toward me and his refusal to go under my house to check the ducting because it is «an old house and might have asbestos». He left my house without doing anything and I immediately called the company to complain.
Within a half hour the owner of the company called me back and when he heard what had happened he apologized profusely. He offered to send a different technician to my house and do whatever needed to be done to make me happy and win back my loyalty and he told me there would be no charge for this service call at all. A few days later a much more pleasant and professional team of two came to my house and did what needed to be done. As promised, I was not charged. The fact that Ari, the owner, was so polite and eager to keep my business was worth a lot to me. I will continue to call AD airconditioning for my needs since aside from this one unpleasant experience they have been a generally very satisfying business to deal with.

We’ve had our new heating unit for several months now and we couldn’t be happier with how it heats our home. The installation process went pretty well and Ari stepped up each time we had things to work out. He went the extra mile to make us happy.

Just wanted to drop a wee note to say thanks for the great job at 874 Birchwood Drive, Holmby Hills, CA. Both of the 5-​ton Heating and Cooling units are working beautifully. Fast, Efficient, Quality workmanship is always appreciated!!! A++, Arie, both crews were great to work with Team Tony and Team Jose.
Also, I am glad I we installed new duct work and zoned the units. It has saved significant $$ over the past year. DR. T.
