We specialize in embroidery and clothing alterations. We can also tailor men’s suits. Large and small orders are accepted.

We accept emergency alterations.

Hours of operation are by appointment only. Week-​ends and holidays are also available.

History

Established in 2013.

Since childhood I’ve been sewing, making clothing for myself and working with my mother on the same. I’ve been sewing and altering clothing for friends and my church family for years at no cost to them.

Since this seems to be my strong-​suit, I decided to make this my business. I figure it this way… if a person is really good at something, it is better to reach out to those who can benefit from your talent instead of keeping it to yourself.

I am hopeful that I can also help you with your embroidery/​alteration needs.

I have no problem at all with small personal embroidery projects. Maybe you just want your child’s monogram on some clothing… I have a small supply of ring bearer pillows for your special day… If you are ‘hard to fit’ in clothing, perhaps you would like a custom made dress for your special occasion…

I’ve lived in Northwest Indiana all my life. I’ve been sewing for myself and others since childhood.

I was previously employed in the Insurance industry, working for others. I decided it was much more fulfilling to work for myself, doing good for others.

Started SDK Embroidery in 2013.
