We used them for a bridal hair. We had arranged for payment for day of services and I got a call from my daughter in law in tears. The stylists were pulled off of the job until it was paid, I spoke to Julie and she explained that the stylists can’t receive money? Hmmmm — trust issues? Past problems? Maybe letting the bride know that prior would be good policy. The stylists were over an hour late(more than one wedding a day?). Julie offered to come over and receive the cash as each girl was paying for their own. Great. Problem solved. WRONG. Julie arrives and she has changed her mind and will not receive the money and demands credit and no one has one. A check is offered to which Julie makes a comment to the effect of how can she be assured that their will be money in the account. Bottom line — if you don’t take day of payments don’t say you will. If you are going to receive day of payments have a clear policy. Either way you have a contract so there is never a reason or money to have a bride crying on her wedding day. I’m giving them 2 stars only because the stylists were nice and did a great job.

This was my second time. Even though my first stylist was no longer there, Emily’s wash, cut and style service was very good. One of the challenges in finding a hair stylist is these individuals have a tendency to move like the leaves in the wind. The other challenge is finding someone who will really listen to you and then use her or his experience to make your desire a reality. Emily did listen and when I come back in 6 weeks for that next hair cut, I will possibly re-review this recommendation.

I’m torn about how to rate this place. I’ve been for both a haircut and brow waxing and was satisfied with both appointments. But both times the front desk staff really changed my experience. So my rating would been higher except I just can’t get over that the vibe I got first and last were the things I didn’t like the most. I chose this salon in large part because of their website. Well laid out and with informative biographies of their stylists. Very helpful! But at my first appointment, despite being the only person sitting in the waiting area, the person working the front desk forgot to tell my stylist I was there for quite some time. She also had me fill out a new client form, but when I paid apparently didn’t remember I was new and didn’t bother to explain their tip envelope procedure, so I felt very lost trying to figure it out on my own. If she doesn’t want to explain perhaps a sign to explain it or even a label on the tip envelopes as to what they are for would work. It certainly wasn’t a welcoming or relaxing experience for me. This time the person at the desk seemed unable to multitask and even though all I needed to do was hand her the tip envelope I had to wait for her to convince another lady to purchase some anti wrinkle serum and check her out, while myself and another woman stood there with our envelopes. I didn’t rate them the first time because I didn’t feel it was fair when the hair appointment was fine, but now I’ve been twice and left with the same feeling both times.

Last night I visited Le Roc to use a gift card my husband got me for a massage. I had never been there before, so wasn’t sure what to expect. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! Let me preface this review by saying that I have not used the salon part — but it was well-lit, nicely laid out and very very clean. As for the massage… The Positive: My masseuse, Sherrilyn, was amazing! I have literally had hundreds of massages in my life — at high end spas, to small locally-owned storefronts — and this was in the top 3 of all-time masseuses. She uses energy techniques that actually worked! It only took about 5 minutes to start feeling the benefits of her ability, and today I feel better than I have felt in months! She is MAGICAL! Now, if you are not into«energy» work or don’t think you are, STILLGO. I was always unsure about it after having experienced some not-too-sensational attempts. But whatever she is doing it is worth every penny of the extremely well priced massage experience. The Negative, and the only reason this did not get 5 stars: The massage rooms are in the back of a salon by the pedicure chairs. So instead of enjoying peace and tranquility you hear the laughter and conversations of the people in the salon. It sort of ruined things. I was told that they are going to try and improve this situation, making the treatment rooms more soundproof… but all-in-all the environment for the massage sort of sucked. However, once the treatment begins you honestly just don’t care.
