History

Established in 1981.

Albert was doing handyman work in the late ’70’s while working full time as a machinist apprentice when one of the guys at work ask him to fix his fireplace, other repairs followed. In January 1981 Albert started «Soots Away Chimney Sweep» and about a year later changed the name to «Albert the Chimney Sweep». The plant where Albert worked moved out of the area during the economic downturn in the early ’80’s and after a short stint at another machine shop Albert decided to take «Albert the Chimney Sweep» full time in 1984. Albert belives in quality work, education and certifications to advance his trade. Today Alberts oldest son Joe works in the business so, we have 3 techs, a helper and Alberts wife Bobbie managing the office and our neice scheduling our clients.

Albert and Bobbie have 4 adult children, 2 grandchildren, 2 dogs and a cat. We enjoy spending time with our children and grandchildren camping, boating and the beach.
