Used Oscar about two years ago for a clogged toilet. Had the same problem again recently. Called Oscar and he came after hours to try to unclog the toilet. He tried for over two hours and wasn’t successful. Didn’t charge me a dime. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a honest and friendly plumber.

My 6 year old just broke the handle on the tub filler/​shower for his bathroom. We could not turn it off. It was running hot water. I had to shut off the water to my entire house at the outside valve. It is pouring rain (El Nino). It was 6:15pm. I came onto Unilocal to look for a plumber and found Oscar at O & O plumbing. I called and got no answer but left a message. I figured they were done for the day. He called me back 5 minutes later and in spite of being done for the day, showed up at my house within 20 minutes. He fixed the problem enough for me to be able to turn the water to the home back on until I can get parts for the broken valve and departed without even asking for payment (I gratefully gave him some cash). His demeanor was professional (he wore the booties to keep the floor clean even after I said don’t worry about it). He was friendly and really got me out of a jam. I can’t recommend O & O plumbing enough!

I highly recommend Oscar and O&O Plumbing. He recently installed a new toilet for me and was the ideal worker. He was punctual, courteous, and kind, cleaned up all of the mess, disposed of the old toilet, and did a great job! He even put on booties over his shoes when entering my house (unprompted) to keep from tracking anything in.
I called him a week before the install to ask if he was able to do the job, and he not only gave me an upfront price, but also told me a few things to look for in buying a new toilet because I was clueless.
Once I bought the toilet, I talked to him over the holiday weekend to schedule a time to come out and he came out on the next business day. It was very easy to coordinate a time for the job.
I watched him install the toilet and he showed me a few things about the process all the while maintaining his polite and happy disposition. I cannot say enough good things about Oscar and I will definitely use him again in the future and recommend him to others in need of a great, honest, trustworthy plumber.

Nope. Sorry to give one star, but when a professional comes out to your house, looks at your problem, takes pictures even, then says he has to research the solution and tells you he will get back to you — and then he never gets back to you at all, just completely ignores everything he said and leaves you in the lurch, well sorry, that’s what happened to me with Oscar and that to me is worthy of only one star.

I called first thing in the morning when I noticed my Hot Water Heater dribbling a puddle all over my driveway. Oscar had a cancellation and was able to swing by within the hour to take a look. Sure enough the water heater in my house was very old and had started to rot through itself. A few more days and it probably would’ve just completely collapsed and spilled gallons upon gallons of water everywhere. Luckily, Oscar was able to come back later in the afternoon and install a new one for me in just over an hour.
During the initial estimate I asked about the cost of going tankless and Oscar was very honest and upfront that the expense is quite high and it wasen’t necessarily the best choice for my house at this time. Very helpful! Didn’t try to sell me a more expensive bill of goods that wasen’t right for me, even though I was the one asking about it!
Would highly recommend. Oscar will be go-​to plumber from now on, when ever the need arises.

SUPER SUPER IMPRESSED…
So — we had a leak from a shower that was going through the floor and into the roof on the room below.
We got 3 quotes from various plumbers.
Oscar was the only one who suggested making a small hole first in the wall and using a camera to see the damage. Ever other plumber wanted to open the wall straight away.
Oscar was correct — the damage could be fixed without having to spend hundreds and open the wall.
Leak fixed — thanks to super Oscar and his amazing work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

With a stopped up sink, this wasn’t an emergency but I called Oscar and he was able to come that afternoon. Fixed the sink, diagnosed a faucet problem and was reasonably priced. He’s going to call us when he gets the part needed for the leaking faucet.

Oscar came to my apartment at the agreed upon time. He came prepared and even used shoe booties. He was very professional, knowledgeable and explained every step with simple, non-​plumber language. Unfortunately he was unable to clear the clog in my kitchen sink but it wasn’t for lack of trying. He explained the next step to me and quoted how much the work would cost. The fee for trying was reasonable at $ 0.00. I was so grateful that he took the time that he did. Thanks again Oscar! Your the best!

Oscar is courteous, prompt, professional and he really knows what he’s doing. He has integrity and is very nice.
I had him fix a valve under my kitchen sink so it was up to code for a dishwasher install and also install a new faucet kit in an upstairs bathroom.
He quoted me a price and although the faucet kit ended up being problematic because a pipe ended up needing replacing he didn’t charge me more than the quoted price.
I highly recommend him and I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Oscar is a great plumber and a really awesome person. He not only fixed 4 issues in our new condo, but also taught me a few things along the way. Necessary things like where my kitchen water main shut off was and how to tell if it was open or close.

I called Oscar because of his amazing reviews here. Sometimes I’m suspicious when reviews are all so good, but he was fantastic. Called me back quickly, showed up as scheduled, figured out the problem quickly and solved it. He even helped me troubleshoot my sprinkler system just because he’s a nice person.
He also explains the problem very well, an issue I’ve had with other plumbers.
Definitely my go-​to now.

Oscar came over this weekend to fix our hot water heater. GE didn’t have the part in stock to get to us (even though it’s under warranty) so we weren’t sure we would be able to get anything done for over a week. I asked Oscar for his advice, we discussed our options and got it fixed. He was in and out within 30 minutes and the fix was very reasonably priced even when done on a Saturday.
Here are the highlights:
— I left him a message, he got back to me within 20 minutes.
— He was glad to communicate via text which makes exchanging things like serial numbers, model numbers, phone numbers, etc so much easier.
— He worked through the options with me and was happy to settle on the one that would make him the least amount of money but was a good choice for me.
— He was extremely polite and personable. You can tell he likes his job and is just good people.
Told him how much we spent on adding an underground gas line to the detached garage for laundry from another company and he told me the price should have been less than half that. Oh well, next time!
Found my guy. He should be yours too.

Oscar is amazing! We had about 5 other plumbers look at a problematic low water pressure situation with one of our showers. All the other plumbers said it was probably sediment & the only way to figure it out was the main water line would have to be shut off for our complex (townhouse).
Oscar figured it out quickly & it was a small issue NO other plumber ever got. The cute thing is that Oscar loves doing the detective work.
Our shower water pressure is great now thanks to O & O. And we saved a fortune. He’s so kind & affordable. Oh & he texts — so convenient! Seriously, the best.
