Best price mani/​pedis in LA, and that is not an exaggeration. To have your nails painted and manicured are two separate prices, so basically if you want to just change your gel color and not cut your cuticles, it’s $ 12. If you want your cuticles cut and a hand massage, etc, it’s $ 10. What?! Other places charge at least $ 25 and haven’t even been giving me the option, just don’t cut my cuticles or give my nails the love they need. A toe nail polish change is $ 5, they do silk wrap nails, and lots of waxing. The place itself could use a makeover, but if you’re trying to look baller on a budget def come here!

Artist Nails is a great nail place. They are affordable and give great service. My nail technician’s name is Andy. He is precise, quick and friendly!

Really amazing job! I came in on a Sunday and they were able to assist me immediately when most nail shops are jammed packed and say they can take you but really can’t. My nail techs did exactly what I needed and asked for and my nails are gorgeous! Definitely a new favorite spot when all else fails!

Looked on Unilocal to see what’s close by to me, because it’s my birthday and I now have the time to get my brows waxed.
Found this place, so I call in to ask if they do eyebrows, and a gentleman answered the phone.
First off he already sounded rude and irritated, I began to ask my question he cut me off.
I paused and asked sir. Do you guys do eyebrows? His response yeah, but not right now (rudely) don’t come for another hour.
Before I can say okay thank you. He hung up the phone.
Well then… never again will I consider this place, like EVER!
Customer service is keeps an establishment alive.

Where do I begin.
Parking area is small. I had been coming here for years since it was the first nail salon I had ever been to. Then I realized after going to a GOOD salon that this place was a joke. Everyone I’ve seen walk out of their eye brow wax here has uneven eyebrows, yikes! So I would never even consider coming here. The magazines on the table are years old. The workers stay talking to each other in their language which makes customers feel unwelcome, and the infamous Larry always has a look on his face like he’s ready to scream his head off. I’ve never seen this man smile.
They need to update their nail styles. I wanted stiletto nails the very last time I came and the lady didn’t know how to do them so I went with a regular mani. The pedicures are done in what looks like a kitty litter with a plastic bag over it. Nothing seems sanitized here. After being a loyal customer for years I’m upset I’m writing this review but it’s all true. You get for what you pay for… And in this case, sometimes you get even less!

NEVER AGAIN! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years with Larry for eyebrows. Putting up with horrible staff, horrible customer service and rudeness for so many years because I was too afraid to get my eyebrows else where. But after today I’m never again going in! This place is dirty, old and the owner «Larry» has the worst attitude since I’ve known him.
I’m a positive happy person and I couldn’t do it anymore. Never again!

I’ve been coming here for years. And I used to love the customer service but now it went down the drain. Now Larry always seems to be in a shitty mood. I love getting my nails done but I think it’s time to take my money somewhere else.
Prices used to be reasonable now they’re out of control for something shitty and ugly

Been coming here for about 20 years. Larry is great and fast and does great eyebrows. They keep it simple and inexpensive. Many times google pictures of what I want and Larry will do it without a problem. He even puts on eyelashes and does airbrushed tattoos. I enjoy coming here for the service and the prices. Larry always tries to please my choice in designs.

I love coming here to get my eyebrows done and mani/​pedi! I especially love their selection of nail polishes which are mainly brand name ones like essie and opi! You wont be disappointed. :)

I’ve been going to this place for over 20 odd yrs, I DO NOT recommend them AT ALL!
Larry and Lyn run a sweat shop, the place is a dump, everything is run down, the chairs are so uncomfortable, they put these lousy cushions on the warn out chairs, which didn’t help at all! The people who work for them are very talented and humble, and they all know the owners are cheap jerks! I love them, I give them big tips, as they always take care of me, but they don’t have enough help, and during busy times, the wait is ridiculous! I had an apt today for 5pm, I got there 5 mins late because they NEVER honor an appt, and when I asked to be taken they both jumped down my throat saying I was late! I’ll NEVER EVER go their, they have lousy nail polish (I always bring my own), they don’t know my name after 20 yrs, the place is a dirty, worn out dump, and Larry and Lyn are disgusting, low class, despicable animals.
I pity anyone who goes their, they don’t deserve the good people who work their, nor do they appreciate their customers. Pigs!

Been coming here for years. Great prices compared to location on Ventura. But not a good selection of nail polish and there is always a wait. Parking is a bit tight cause it’s a small plaza but u can find it

This place is the worst! I went there for a mani and pedi. After they «finished,» I went to my car and noticed that four of my nails were chipped already and then later in the afternoon I noticed a couple of toe nails were chipped too. What attracted me at first to this place was the mani/​pedi was $ 20 total, but lesson of the day is that the cheap sometimes comes off expensive. I definitely would not recommend this place.

If I could negative zero stars would be had… I will never set foot in here again. i was a long time costumer putting up with the lack of organization, rudeness observed towards other clients, unbelievably uncomfortable chairs & disregard of appointments made but no more. I went in yesterday to get my fill done with Andy (as far as I know his usual day off is Wed.) so they suggested I come in today. I said I couldn’t and could someone else take care of me? They were not busy at all, her response was «it better if you come for Andy». In shock I asked her so let me be clear you won’t do my fill? She said no! Hope you’re happy having lost a well tipping loyal client. I hope it’s easy for you to explain how you didn’t care about Andy and his income either.

If you need fancy-​schmancy this is not the place for you.
If you want your nails done quick & at a great price, come here.

My sister got a fungus infection on her toes her nails turned black and her skin on her toes started to peel off. Her friend also got an infection recently on her toes. I warned both of them that that nail salon was dirty. I have had my own experience with a salon I used to work at where they didn’t sanitize tools. I am a cosmetologists myself and I can tell which is a dirty nail salon. You would be surprised how many salons are very unsanitary. Always ask for them to sanitize if it looks dirty you have that right. State board regulations say so. I didn’t get my pedicure done once I saw the cat litter boxes they used ha ha lol all they do is put a plastic bag over a box. The owner told my sister she just had bruises on her toes from her high heels they also told her friend that. They were very nervous after seeing her toes and they started talking in their language. They still performed the pedicure after convincing her that they were bruises. State Board says it’s mandatory for us to refuse service on anyone that shows signs of infection or skin diseases on scalp, skin etc. It could have been a worse case. I am posting this to warn anyone going to this nail shop I don’t want the same thing to happen to you.

No frills here! The service was fairly quick, but the prices were wonderful! The DO charge an extra dollar if you use your ATM card, but even so– very inexpensive! Bear in mind that you get what you pay for, and the atmosphere doesn’t really allow you to relax too much, but cheap and fast can be quite beneficial for those on the run! 3 stars because they have a good thing going, I just wish they were a bit better at it.

This place is OK. I mean… if you want an inexpensive mani-​pedi and you want it done quickly, this is a decent spot. It’s very clean, and the techs work hard to power through the crowd, so that your wait isn’t bad, no matter how many people are on deck.
However, the work isn’t terribly thorough. I’ve had a pedicure done, and still had callouses. The work is the equivalent of when I sit down and take the time to do my own pedicure at home: serviceable, but not top-​notch.
The acrylics I got were pretty old-​school: bulky, square shaped, a bit too long. I always had to shape down the bulk later at home. And, just as with the pedicure, not a lot of attention paid to details such as the cuticles…
All in all, if you want some quick service that yields presentable results, this place is fine, and everyone’s very nice. If you want top notch, sophisticated work, this isn’t the best choice, in my opinion.

There’s a big screen TV and Internet access… what more could I want?
