Honestly I brought all my sons gently used/​brand new clothes here when he was too big for them and first they told me they can’t take them because they have to much. Of course I was upset because that’s what I came there for but they decided to take a look. My sons clothes were in FANTASTIC condition and the most they took a piece each was .50 cents. And I ended up buying some stuff and nothing was under $ 3 in my sons size. Do you know how much profit they just made off my sons clothing? That’s unfair. I will never go back there. I can get my money’s worth at a thrift store. Which is where I go to buy all my sons stuff anyway. I think they can do better and not make so much profit on clothing others are donating… I will never go here again, at least bring his clothes here. I could of given them to someone who needed it. Which is what I do now.

I was looking for gently used clothes for my twin girls (arriving in the new year) and I came to the right place! The prices are great! Each onesie, is priced at 1.50 $ and newborn clothing sets are just a few dollars each. I will be back tor some 3 – 6 month old clothes in a few months!

Decent place with good customer service. The quality of the items entirely depends on what you’re looking for. We were pretty satisfied with our purchases.
Some of the items are overpriced in my opinion but again, depends on what you’re looking for. Worth a visit…

They corrected the sales tax error on diapers.

I waited a good 30 mins to have my things evaluated for pricing. There was a man ahead of me with 3 big boxes of items. It took all 3 employees to evaluate & clean his items instead of 1 person stepping aside to look over my 6 items. I had a toddler NorthFace one piece coat, purchased at $ 110, a Tommy Hilfiger toddler hoodie $ 40, Nautica sweater, a few shirts from H&M & jeans. All in all I would say at least $ 200 in merchandise. I however received $ 7 for all my items. I of course wasn’t looking for top dollar at a thrift store because I know they have to make a profit. But the $ 7 was ridiculous. That was my first time trying to sell my son things, I usually throw it in those random clothing bins you see around town, but I heard all they do is sell it for a profit, all along I thought they were clothing people for free! Anyway I thought I’d at least walk out of there with $ 30 – 40. I spent more on gas and time than anything. I ended up buying my son a plastic tool box from there for $ 6.50, I guess one plastic item was valued the same as a bunch of quality clothes. I’ll just continue throwing his old clothes in the bins.

If your looking to sell «gently» used childrens item’s OR buy gently used item’s, this is the place to go. The owner is pleasant and his employee’s are very nice. They don’t have the inconvenient cap on buying hours like the store Once Upon a Child in Seaford does. I’ve investigated quite a few of them on Long Island, and this place is by far the most convenient on top of very nice and impressionable staff.

So I have been meaning to write a review on this place for a quite a while because I have been here so many times and I wish I would have done it sooner. I honestly can’t believe that it has any bad reviews. I also don’t see how anyone could say the owners are rude. I have never had a bad experience here. The owners are awesome and super friendly. Are you guys sure you are talking about the right store???
The clothes are top quality and so are all of the other products. Of course there is a chance that something may have a small stain on it considering they are selling thousands of articles of clothing, but it’s a used clothing shop. Sometimes I wonder what people actually want when they are paying $ 2.50 for an article of baby clothing. Baby’s drink formula, they vomit and they are normally messy. Instead of complaining go through the clothes and find stuff you like.
You will not get a better bargain anywhere else. I always feel like I am at home when I walk into this store. I drive in from the Bronx and it is well worth paying a toll just to go here. Baby’s grow out if clothes so quickly that I feel it is pointless to spend $ 50 on one outfit.
I also love that this is a local business and I am all for supporting people who are trying to make an honest living. I really hope this store is around for a very long time and I wish them lots of luck!!!
I have recommended people here time and time again and will continue to do so.
P. S. If you love books this is THE PLACE to go!!!

the place is kept clean and well-​organized. my advice: only sell items if you truly just want to clear the house and get rid of stuff. you will not make much money for your items. don’t even bother trying to negotiate for more $, because the salespeople have total hand in this transaction and will not budge. as far as buying — once in a while you’ll find some great stuff for reasonable prices — you just have to look — the search is the fun part. recommend.

Love buying used kids stuff as they go through stuff so quickly and usually baby items are expensive. Great prices and merchandise.

As mentioned in other reviews, the owners are very rude. My friend has also went in to sell some items and they were very rude to her as well. I have found clothing that had stains on them and were not in the best condition. There are other places out there that sell much better quality.

I’m reviewing this place as a seller. I couldn’t find anyone to give my bassinet to. It was taking up unnecessary space in our apartment. After putting the item together the owner tried to lowball me. It’s worth $ 200. I wanted $ 100.00 for it. He wanted to give me $ 25.00! I walked out of there without selling. You learn a thing a two if you use to sell yourself. Never again.

I have nothing but great things to say about this store. Early in my pregnancy I didn’t have the urge to buy baby clothes yet but my mom kept dragging me around to different stores. I finally got the urge once in this store. All the clothes are in pristine condition, and super affordable. I had a blast looking through the racks and spent about $ 30 on a nice sized bag of clothes. My mom also purchased a stroller, bouncy seat, bassinet, boppy and countless other items for «Nana’s» house. I’d be back much more often if I lived closer!

I am a first time mother 8mths pregnant, looking to buy some last minutes things for my baby. Fount this place on Craigslist. To my surprise, We’ve fount a lot of things for dirt cheap. Most of the clothes are used, but the ones we fount were from Carter’s, Never Used, we fount plenty of onesies, we brought a crib bedding set, blankets etc. they don’t sell baby bottles, or breast pump for sanitary reasons. The manager was really nice, so was the lady worker. I will return to buy the barely used bassinet for $ 30!!! This place beats shopping at babies r us or old navy. You have to wash the clothes anyway before the baby wears it, why not buy it for cheaper, and save money for diapers and wipes!

A great place to shop if you have a young child. The prices on clothing are fantastic. They only sell stuff that either still has the tags on the item, or very gently used. I’ve seen the owner turn down purchasing clothing from people that looked to be in very good condition, but was still not up to his standards. As far as I’m concerned, the only negative about this place is it’s either «hit or miss» with finding sizes and styles to suit your child’s needs… but the owner is constantly replenishing his stock, so if you don’t find anything you like on 1 visit… you can always come back again soon and hope for the best.
