Our business specializes in Custom Made Furniture (sofa, chairs, headboards, kitchen nook, cornices etc.). Upholstery, re-​upholstery, furniture refinishing, custom made pin fitted slipcover, pillows etc. Commercial project as well. Medical (Hospital chairs, beds, doctor’s office chairs, exam tables). Business (conference room, reception seats etc). Hospitality (Hotels, restaurants, night clubs, bars etc). Educational (Library chairs, dining room furniture etc).

History

Established in 2007.

I first learned the craft of upholstering 26 years ago at a furniture manufacturer in North Carolina. Within a year, I was promoted to foreman. In 2002, I moved to Manhattan, where I continued my trade. Once again I earned the position of foreman and began working with designers on highend furniture in the trade only business. Eight years ago, I followed my dream of going out on my own and opened Johnny’s Custom Upholstery in Valley Stream N.Y.
