Vince and his entire staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I trust them to take care of my minivan that I chauffeur my 4 young kids around in. Although I just arrived from California, I read a recent review, came here & now highly recommend their shop.

Staff is knowledgeable and very good at what they do. I highly recommend and this will be my shop of choice from now on. If you need a quote or have questions they answer their messages promptly and give you the best advice possible.

This shop is one of very few shops thats shows true professionalism, vince was so helpful and informative, made sure that my car was taken care of and did his ultimate best, if i could give this shop 10 stars. i def would! Excellent, deserving 5 stars. My hybrid Lexus needed some intricate work after the timing belt sheared from an old water pump. This job is not for the inexperienced. After reading the reviews around the Internet I took a leap of faith and called up Vince. He is well spoken the shop is organized and they did a great job. My car already has 115K and as I take care of my cars, I’m expecting a long life, but will not hesitate to go back for more service when it needs. Thank you.

I came here last year during the summer to have them look at in issue I had with my 2013 Golf R. i was experience sputtering at high RPMs under hard acceleration.
Long story short,
End of July/​Beginning of August, I bring my car here. They checked the vechicle and couldnt figure out the issue. There was a code that it threw and they were going to check it out. After about 5 weeks, I got the car back, but it wasnt fixed. He apologized and didnt charge me for checking into it.
I bring the car back after I came back from my trip and he said he had more time to dedicate to checking why this was happening. After another ¾ weeks, he said he believes is gone. He replaced the Coils and spark plugs and gapped them shorter. I also had him give me an oil change and do some programming on my APR chip. Now its end of the 3^rd week in OCT.
I take the car to the track while I am on vacation during the 1^st week of November. I found that its still happening. I leave the track after 2 runs because someone at the track said there is a probably a problem with the fuel pump and for me not to chance it.
I looked at the codes the it threw and it was the same codes from before. I then take it to Redline Speedworx in NJ because the track was at Raceway Park in NJ.
I told them the symptoms as I did for Andy&Terry. They let the car cool down and first thing they found was the APR fuel pump was damaged due to the CAM follower getting worn away and it ended up wearing away the fuel pump rod or shaft.
I ended up having to replace my motor because of all the metal shavings in the engine. This was a sad day. I only wished Andy and Terry would have checked in the beginning of August, I might have been able to save the engine and heads and all that money/​headaches.
I cant give him a full negative review, because he was extremely nice and attempted to do what was right for the customer. it was just unfortunate they didnt know to check the under the High Pressure Fuel Pump for the CAM Follower.
At least I learned something from it, MK6 GTI’s and R’s have an inherent design flaw that the CAM Follower needs to be checked at every oil change for wear and to replace if it is worn out.
From what i understand, this is a known issue that every VW/​Audi Mechancs should know about.
I hope nobody else has to go through this. I think Andy and Terry is fine more most work that you will get done. I happen to get the short end of the stick this time.

I don’t have a lot of free time, but I wanted to get my tires checked. Found out about this place on Unilocal,and wasn’t disappointed by their great service and good attitude. Shawn in particular was very friendly and helpful. Support your local shops instead of going to chains, especially when it comes to this field.

This review is long overdue. Around November 2014 I went to Andy and Terry for a 60k mile check up on my Malibu. There I met with a man named Vince who took care of me from start to finish. Very good service overall. Price was reasonable and I was in and out in about an hour. The only criticism was that it took longer than usual to get a quote for the service, however my overall experience was very positive and I would recommend this shop.

Always friendly and good customer service… They usually take care of me right away.

I called today with a minor problem and they took care of it right away. They gave me a plan for how to fix the problem permanently and then they didn’t charge me. I have found my new Automotive Shop.

I was at Andy and Terry Automotive very briefly last year when I was thinking about buying a pickup truck from a nearby used car dealership. I took the truck to Andy and Terry’s and they gave a very good assessment of the vehicle for a modest price. I found them to be very professional and a pleasure to deal with. While my dealings with the shop were brief, they left a very good impression.

Little bit of a let-​down after my last service visit here in June 2013.
Scheduling was convenient and service was quick, but when the technician began ringing me up, I noticed that he was trying to charge me for items which I should not be charged for (as per the TireRack customer guarantee). When I pointed that out to him, he asked me if I was sure and had that in writing. Fortunately, I had my laptop and portable hotspot with me, so I pulled up
and showed him the Andy and Terry entry on TireRack’s website, which clearly indicated that valve stems were not to be charged to customers.
His response — «Ok, I knew that, but I just wanted to make sure that you did.» Thereafter, he removed the charge and billed me at the TireRack customer rates.
I like this garage, and they do very good work quite efficiently. It just is off-​putting that they would attempt to engage in charging a customer rates which are not in line with the contract which they obviously have with TireRack for installations as a «Price Pledge Plus» contracted installer.

I followed in the footsteps of another reviewer, Riccardo S, and ordered my tires through
and picked Andy and Terry to be the installer. They did a wonderful job! I called after 4 p.m. to make an appointment, but mentioned that I could stop by in a half an hour. They told me to come on the same day! They are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend.

Zack and Vinny you guys are the man! Awesome, professional work, and fair prices is what you’ll find at this shop! I recently had some APR performance work done, and now the car feels OUTSTANDING! Their advice as well as future recommendations were priceless! Thanks for everything guys, you rock

I have been taking my car there for 10+ years. They have always been honest and fair and they tell me the truth about what needs to be done now and what can wait. They have fair prices and they really take time for their customers. Have recommended to MANY over the years and they have always done right!
