This company did a remodel/​add on to our home about 15 years ago. Same business address still today.
I can attest to the complete and utter lack of attention to detail, the lack of honesty, respect and pride in craftsmanship.
The addition that was added–
The roof leaks in 3 places, damaging the inner drywall, ceilings and fixtures.
The poor craftsmanship and cheap materials have left me with a lifetime of a mess to clean up after. We had tile laid, the grout is chipping, was never sealed and is uneven from existing kitchen to new hallway.
Linen closet in new hallway, the cheap doors came off the runners within a year of installation, they have never worked properly.
The cabinet installed by the back door for storage, all but 1 of the 4 drawers have flipped off their runners and are unusable.
The 2 garden windows are installed with fiber board sills and have leaked, swelled and will have to be replaced if I ever hope to sell our home.
The deck installed on the side of our home…
The septic pipe running from our home to the tank was crushed while they were digging the holes for the concrete pillars that support the main deck beams, thus restricting the flow that caused it to fail and need to be replaced about a year later. This crushing was never brought to our attention and we had to pay $ 1000.00+ to have the pipe dug out and replaced. THAT is why the distance between the support beams is different, they destroyed our pipe by not paying attention and noticing the drain clean out not 4 feet from where they crushed the pipe, absolutely lack of attention to detail and not owning up to what was done.
The gutters they installed around our home sagged, leaked and buckled within 3 years. Yes we cleaned them out seasonally, they were just poorly installed and anchored. They literally failed above our front doorway, thus a pouring waterfall cascaded onto our door and damaging the footing and woodwork.
They added central heating & cooling. The actual unit works, yay, but them adding all the code required vents through our roof, their new roof, all leak. All of them. The duct work came undone from the bottom of the flooring in the crawl space, you guessed it, another grand to fix.
I can’t recommend this contractor at all. His work has not withstood either the test of time or quality. It is a running joke around our home whenever someone has to fix damage, gets their fingers pinched by cruddy work and general malease by looking at the shoddy workmanship, we always say «thanks Frank»
I don’t know how this guy got a license, but his work is horrible. We would have been better off never having an addition put on than to be stuck with all his mistakes and cover ups.
