The Spot Man started out redyeing bleach spots and removing stains other carpet cleaners said couldn’t be removed. From the beginning my guarantee has been «The Spot’s Gone or It’s Free». I used to refer whole room cleaning to a long time St Louis company but Customers kept telling me they weren’t happy with the results they got from that company. So in 2005 I started cleaning the Area rugs and whole floor, not just the spots. The response has been phenomenal. We have grown every year, even in the economic down turn. I have been blessed with a competent, caring staff to serve you, my Customers.

Hi my name is Damon, I’m the new owner of The Spot Man in St Louis. I have worked in the Engineering field for 26 years before becoming a partner with Rich in the floor cleaning business. With my back ground and the knowledge that Rich has in the carpet field gives us the edge. To give you a little of back ground of The Spot man, Rich started in the floor covering industry in 1976 running a Carpetland USA store in Decatur, IL. He moved to St Louis in the early 1980’s to work as a Commercial Flooring Contractor. In 1993, He became a sales rep for Shaw Industries, the largest carpet manufacturer in the world. This experience gives us an understanding of flooring that other cleaners don’t have and can’t get from a 2 day training class. He started the The Spot Man in 2000 and has also started a Store in Evansville, IN. However, we are also an IICRC Certified Cleaning company. A difficult certification to receive and maintain There are very few of us in the St Louis Region.
