Here at Rutledge Neurology and Rehabilitation we have been successful in treating those suffering form chronic and acute pain. Any time you are in pain there are central are consequeces on your nervous system function. It is essential to find ways to address your pain.
We also specialize in functional syndromes such as: neurobehavioral disorders, movement disorders, and vestibular rehabilitation.
Often a traumatic injury will need rehabilitative attention for months to years after immediate medical assistance has ended to make sure there are minimal long term consequences to the ability to function to their fullest potential.
We do not like labels for our patients, rather we use our patient interview and comprehensive exam to give us an accurate depiction of what is truly going on with each person who comes through our doors.

Dr Rutledge’s philosophy is that each person can achieve optimal health and overcome any health challenge. By looking at each person as a unique and integrated whole, he strives to get to the root cause of any functional problem.
Dr Stuart Rutledge graduated from Paintsville High School in Paintsville, Kentucky, a small town in Eastern Kentucky. In high school, he played four years of varsity basketball. He went on to attend Centre College in Danville, KY. While at Centre he competed 4 years in varsity basketball, helping the team win a conference title in 2007, and was voted best teammate. Dr. Rutledge’s interest in Chiropractic medicine started when his father overcame some health issues with assistance from a chiropractor. Once Dr. Rutledge obtained his B.S. in Biology he enrolled at Life University and acquired his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
During his time at Life, he became interested in Functional Neurology and began his postdoctoral coursework through the Carrick Institute fo
