Wendy’s Pool Service

I’m sorry to have to give such a bad review but it is well deserved. We hired Wendy once last year and did an ok job. I trusted her again just a few weeks ago to service our pool while we were away on vacation for 17 days. She knew exactly our vacation dates as I had emailed them to her, and we had even worked out what days she would come to keep our pool from getting algae. After 13 days, our cat sitter had to inform us (while we were still on vacation) the pool was now green. I informed Wendy immediately. Instead of saying «let me go over and look at it and quote you a price to take care of the problem», she said, «the water was clear when I last saw it» and made no effort to contact me again after NUMEROUS phone calls, emails and texts to her. I was depending on her to keep the pool clear for an upcoming pool party upon our return, (which we had to cancel because the pool was like pea soup when we returned). She did answer my call once and said she would call me back and never did, even after a follow up call. She is totally unprofessional and is terrible at communicating. She seems to be concerned only about wealthy customers and not ordinary householders. She was concerned about collecting her check though, which she had to have 5 days before her service to us even though we are honest people who pay our bills and have never bounced a check! I was polite to her through this whole ordeal and not once did she follow up with me. Even though she has pool chemical knowledge, I would say please please don’t hire this company. She and her partner are not trustworthy, and terrible, awful, customer service. I usually give good reviews but I cannot even begin to find any good words for this «company».
