The convention center is really nice. Food is not that great. Room is clean.

We’ve been here a few times and it’s a great casino to come to relax. Not quite as bustling as Pechanga, but the pool here more than makes up for the quiet on a weekday. Service was good across the board too.

First let me say I’ve been coming here for 8 years. Yesterday I received my monthly booklet of offers. One of them being a free 2 night midweek stay. I call this morning only to be told that all rooms for that offer had been sold out. Bullshit. This offer book is for march. I just received it yesterday! This is not the first time this has happened. I tried to call the property to speak with a host and I get hung up on. Come on Harrah’s. Of all the years I’ve been loyal to you, this is how you show your loyalty to me? We come. We gamble. We eat. We spa. The complimentary rooms allow us to do this. I hate getting the run around. Not happy.

What a kewl place, especially their pool. I spent a pretty penny to stay here. Last week, $ 389 and this week $ 349.
BUT a place that obviously doesn’t need my business or cares about new business. I wonder why they spend so much money in advertising (I see billboards and hear radio spots all the time) if they cannot accommodate the guest standing right in front of them. I’m beyond appalled at both check-​in and managements’ careless attitude.
I had looked forward to returning with friends and family, for fun and special escapes. However, I was looking for ways to get less expensive rooms in the future. I was advised by Harrah’s staff to get a players card and rack up some points. I was also told that any monies spent in the hotel would rack up these «sought after» points.
Guess what? If you book on Expedia, they don’t honor an Expedia customer. Oh and if you don’t have your players card in your hand, you get no points for any money spent. Zilch.
Advice: Book directly with Harrah’s or NOT AT ALL. For me, a person who worked in Vegas Wynn casinos, opened high-​end resorts and currently work in hospitality… I will not return. I promise.
All the warm fuzzies are gone. I have no love for this place. There are way too many better resorts to frequent who actually want my business.
Harrah’s is stuck in policy, arrogance and stupidity. Apparently, they would rather lose a new customer than try to save or nurture the relationship. My requests were minor and manageable. I do know the hospitality business and I my requests could have been honored. But Harrah’s did not care enough to do so.

visited the lazy river for the 2^nd time last week during our visit to SD and absolutely loved the experience. it wasn’t as warm or «happening» since it’s technically winter, but everything I wanted and needed to do for our visit was available, so I was a happy guest once more.
what made it even better was that 1 yr old baby was in tow and she loved the lazy river experience. cannot and would not exchange the opportunity to make memories like these, so I’ve got to give this place a 5-​star.
they even turned on the fire pit for us, so the more reason for me to love ‘em! thank you for another great time, harrah’s!

I stayed here with my boyfriend back in December to celebrate his birthday before going to the San Diego Safari Park the next day. I have a Total Rewards account so I booked online directly. It was a surprise for my boyfriend so after I made the reservation, I called to arrange an in-​room amenity. I paid for the birthday set-​up which was great! When we arrived, there was less than 5 minutes waiting time to check in. They actually gave us a free upgrade to a nicer/​larger room with a pool view, which was awesome! Then when we got to the room, they had the birthday package already all set-​up in the room. It included a birthday banner, balloons, noisemakers, a party hat, candy and streamer type decorations. It was priceless seeing the surprised look on my boyfriend’s face when we got into the room and he found all of that already set-​up for him!
We weren’t in the room a whole lot since we were only there for the one night but we enjoyed it very much!

Horrifying experience! Long lines at the club desk! Than we paid $ 70 for buffet! Literally the worst food I’ve ever had. We eat out regularly and was shocked that it was so disgusting. We saw a show, cirq ziva. Great show, but our seats were right behind the camera man. You’d think they would hang it from the ceiling or something. Never going back!

A hidden little gem in SD County! Drove past this place many times before stopping in. Have stayed here twice since that day. Casino and rooms are clean and modern. Staff is super friendly from the waiters to the maids to the dealers. Can’t name a Vegas casinos that is as friendly!
Several good restaurants to choose from with Fiore having great fresh seafood they cook right in front of you!
Then there is the Dive Pool. WOW! Cool swim up bar, hot tubs everywhere, lazy river to float in, and a giant main pool. Add in some great cocktails and the cantina serving Mexican dishes and it makes for a great stay!
Only suggestion: have some other healthy (clean) food options.

The walls of the hotel are so damn thin, you can hear everything the housekeeping staff is saying!
The buffet is not bad (but their service is not so good), earls sandwich is yummy, and if you ever wanted to pick up more snacks you can walk to a ⁷⁄₁₁ that’s about a 5 min walk outside.

Writing this review now on Unilocal did one on trip advisor but after it was deleted I decided to write one here.
I stayed at the hotel one of the newer towers and I found BED BUGS in my room was so grossed out I called the front desk ask for some one to come up to take a look not one person bothers to come up to room after waiting for 2 hrs for someone to come up so I decide to go down to front desk and they said they can’t do nothing about it that I had to a number and they will pay for my lost of cloth and luggage I throw away it’s been 3 month not one word form any one at casino or their insurance after numerous try’s of getting a hold of them and not one message back form them so when you go and stay the night make sure you have no BED BUGS.
Also make sure your bathrooms are clean cuz you will find hair in bathtub and floor bed and food in some parts of carpet.

Just came here for a quick stop. Literally just for a bite and a quick draw at the a slot machine. Went straight to the Diamond Lounge and had endless meatballs, fresh cut fruits, desserts, and beverages. Great experience in the Diamond Lounge. Even packed a couple meat balls in a cup to enjoy a little later in the day. But off we went to Earl of Sandwich to use up some food credit. Ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 salads, and a couple pulls at the slot machine while waiting, we were done and off we went.
Overall, a great place. Pretty slow on a weekday, so that probably added to a better experience. Clean casino. Didn’t smell too bad of smoke. Hopefully will have a chance to stick around a night or 2 next time.

This Casino has gone a little to Corporate. No greeters to welcome at the front. It’s a like a crap shoot here. Players card does not enough perks. I received a dollar off the sandwich and drink I purchased at the food court for $ 12.00. Cashier made me feel bad when he snidely said that the casino did not honer the type of credit card I presented to him. My family and I are at the local Casinos quite often and I have never been treated so unpleasantly. I should have known when I walked in the a ghost town in the gambling area. I only wNt to meet a friend. We gave it a try but I ended up taking her to Pala casino (0nly 11 minutes away) where we gambled for two days, had a blast and were treated like royalty from every employee. My gambling relatives warned me about this casino and I should have listened to them. I hope that they can get it together because it is such a waste of a beautiful casino. Don’t take your chances rolling the dice here!

I’m a moderate gambler and love coming here with my family. I like that I can get my Total Reward points here, and earn free stuff for my trip to Vegas which is about once every 2 months or other Harrahs/Caesar’s properties.
I do love that they’re trying to have the Vegas appeal of getting upgraded rooms, swimming pool, spa that does hair, nails and massage, and offer commercial brand places like Starbucks, Earl of Sandwich, and Pinks.
Also a nice bonus is right outside the main entrance is a Shell Station where you can get gas at a decent price. There’s also a Subway and 7-​Eleven for your convenience. Which is great because by Saturday morning I was running out of cash from paying for drinks the night before. Luckily, I like beer so I bought some good beers for a much lesser price. Just sucks that you have to pay for your alcoholic beverages in the casino since we’re already putting a lot of money into the machines.
Overall a good destination if you don’t want to drive to Vegas and just need a weekend away.

I just wanted to recognize a Total Rewards employee from Harrah’s Resort SoCal. Pam Wagner is her name and she has gone above and beyond to help me rectify an issue with my Total Rewards account. Not only has she issued service recoveries for my inconvenience, but she has stayed in contact with myself via email and just been an absolute pleasure to work with. Honestly if it weren’t for Pam, I was ready to walk away from Total Rewards properties and look elsewhere to play. Please take the time to congratulate her as she is a valuable asset to Caesar’s Entertainment.
Also Lissa Thoe, my executive hostess, is amazing and honestly one of the best I’ve encountered at any property I’ve been to. If you’re a strong player, try to get Lissa Thoe as your hostess!

I stayed at Harrahs for an event recently, and there were a few major problems (in my opinion.) first, the hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. If you’re sensitive to smoke (like me) this is not the place for you. Just walking through the hotel made my hair smelled like cigarettes. Also, there were several black hairs in my tub when I got there. The buffet was blah too.
The customer service was exceptional though, so I give them stars for that. The rooms are also nicely decorated.

This review is for the café at Harrah’s Rincon:
I have had the worst experience that I have had with any food establishment at this café.
This waiter is the worst stupidest waiter I have ever seen. He should be terminated from all the restaurants in California with a kick in the butt. We ordered coffee and during the refill he brought another cup, once I looked inside, the cup was all nasty, it seems as if he has brought somebody else’s cup to our table. I have washed my mouth with alcohol like 10 times. I would never go back to this café ever again.
The place should be shut down for health risks as long as this waiter is working there.

I am a huge fan of Vegas Entertainment and Casino scene, and I am always up for an adventure to «The Tables and Slots Valley» area. I went with my friends to Harrah’s Casino a couple of days ago, I am thrilled and delighted by the experience. It’s definitely in my top-​ten casinos I’ve been: modern, spacious, clean, high-​level of performance and service. I did have a great time playing at the tables, my friends had much fun playing at the machines. They do offer a wide range of games, you won’t feel boring for sure. Next time I’m planning to catch a dinner also, and then play of corse. Have fun!

I’ve been to most, if not all, the major casino’s in San Diego. I must say Harrah’s brings the most Asians. While the other casino’s have an older crowd, many staying at Harrah’s were younger. And it’s a casino that came from Vegas, so you know that it’s definitely a good location. And you can use your rewards card from the Vegas Harrah’s at this casino as well.
I played the three card poker. If you play here, be sure to bet on the two side bets. It definitely increases your bet, but you win more. The blackjack tables here were okay, but it didn’t have the side bets like at other casinos.

Overall satisfied. Small resort. Excellent pool and hot tub areas. Good selection of places to eat. Smoking areas inside for you smokers. The staff is very friendly everyone always had a smile. We had to do some searching to find the best drink prices (sports bar).
Our room was cute And very clean and the bed was comfortable. Excellent views of the mountains. I guess almost every room here above the 5^th floor has a great view.
You have to pay for your internet in your room. It’s 2015 people get with the free wifi program! I mean who does that?!
Shower was huge and their bar soaps didn’t dry me out. Housekeeping service was great (thanks for cleaning up my sticky floor sorry I’m a slob) but she forgot to put towels back in the room. It was okay though because she wasn’t far away.
Did not order room service mostly because we didn’t know it was an option.
Would absolutely return and will probably upgrade to the suite next time just to try it out. If you like views ask for a higher floor. Will be back!

This is as good as it gets for a getaway that’s nearby the LA region located in the San Diego county. This is a very nice resort with a big casino, a great pool area, a buffet, eateries, various restaurants and some shops. You definitely feel like you’re escaping everything by coming here since the drive alone takes you through farms and lush green areas. I stayed here with family in the North Tower and the beds were comfortable, the room had modern amenities, a nice bathroom and a great view.

«Great Café Employees, Service, and Food «
My wife and I went and stayed at Harrah’s Southern California Resort for 3 weekends in a row in September. During our stays we had Breakfast in the Café everyday, and had a great experience. Chef Keith Cody has done a great job in turning around and up scaling the menu at the Café, bringing in some new different dishes, and up grading some of the favorite meals for everyone. My wife had a California Omelet and I had the Denver Omelet with Pepper Jack cheese on it. Both Omelets were cooked perfectly and it were delicious. By the way, have their Sour Dough Bread for your toast, it is delicious ! Dolitha our server is one of the nicest and hardest working people we have ever seen. She is contently running around the restaurant serving people with professionalism and style. She also is seating people, cleaning tables, and on some days is Assistant manager. If I was starting a restaurant I would hire her immediately. Jerame one of the other servers in the Café we know also has a great personality and is very good at his job. Next time you are at Harrah’s, give the Café a Try !

This is a pretty good resort/​casino. I love how you don’t smell like cigarettes when you leave this place. The AC vents must be real good. The whole resort smells good. The service for the most part is very friendly & nice. The rooms are great. The shower is awesome, beds very comfortable. The gym is real nice. The best part about this resort is the POOLS! The Pool bar is my fav cuz I can order beers & food while swimming & I can watch a game at the same time. The Lazy River pool is great for kids, the big pool is nice. Tho the Cabanas for $ 300 is a bit much & closing the pools at 8pm is a bit early but over all gotta love the whole Pool setup they got.
Now why I couldn’t give it more then 3 stars is well the food. Besides Earls Sandwich I was not a fan of the food areas here. The Buffet was not very good it was like a HomeTown Buffet type food, but smaller. Luckily it was free cuz I went to a presentation for 30 min about reward cards which Alejandro did a AWESOME job! And Pink’s food was not that great either. The café was ok. Maybe next time I’ll try the steak house restaurant. One other thing that bothered me was once 11pm hit as you gambled I’m use to having staff going around giving out drinks of its coffee, water, juice or beer. But no not here. I notice at around midnight no one was checking on us slot gamblers if we needed drinks. At Baronas they have staff way pass midnight passing out drinks. So that was a problem for me.
But over all I really liked it here & will come back cuz of the real nice rooms & awesome pools & good customer service. I’ll just bring my own food & snacks. See you soon Harrah’s Resort!

I’m use to having crap legs open already & oysters & having more options of food. But I heard you’re guys steak house is real good so I’ll try that next time. I actually have never been here as of last night and am very satisfied with my experience here. I won a contest and got a night’s stay here. I normally don’t gamble but I’ve ventured to many casinos in my time know what a nice casino is. Harrah’s did not disappoint. It reminds me of a nice Las Vegas hotel because it is beautiful and the décor was good.
We really liked the customer service here. The girl who checked us in at the front desk was really sweet and answered all my questions. Our waitress at The Café was super friendly and chatted it up with us. Everything was great!
The room was pretty and modern. We stayed in an «accessible» room because they didn’t have any king rooms available that weren’t «accessible». I’m not sure about the regular rooms but the bathroom didn’t have any towel racks. I was also very sad to say that there weren’t any signs for where the room service menu was and we looked around the room and couldn’t find the menu. We finally called the front desk and they told us the room service menu was a screen on the TV. There should be a sign that tells us how to find it. We didn’t even up getting room service because it took too much effort to find the menu.
The bed was very comfortable and firm– the way I like it!
All in all, I would definitely come back and bring my family and friends! My mom loves to play slots and I’m sure she would enjoy a night at Harrah’s for sure!

I wish they had a bigger non smoking section like their competitor Valley View. They used to have free self serve drinks, but I am guessing the idiots who take the free bus used it to fill their own bottles, and it became a germ fest. The non alcoholic drinks are free if you call the attendant, but they take a while to get to you.

Their buffet is not bad, and if you come midweek they give you a chance to earn a free one if you can gamble a certain point level. Hey, if you are already dumping money in the slots, might as well make it a free meal.
Also a nice bonus is right outside the main entrance is a Shell Station where you can get gas at a decent price, and use your Ralphs/​Krogers points to get a discount on your fill up. There’s no penalty to use credit, and they offer a discount if you get a car wash. There’s also a Subway and 7-​Eleven for your convenience.
Overall a good destination if you don’t want to drive to Vegas.

I’ve been wanting to check this casino out for a while but never really had a reason to. Finally my wife and I took a mini road trip to check out all the north county casinos. As we got near, there really weren’t any signs or anything flashy pointing us in the right direction. we just followed the herd of gamblers and ultimately saw the monstrosity off in the distance. It’s a cool casino, I think the exterior of the casino and the hotel itself could use some renovating if they want to keep up with the las vegas look but not too bad. The lighting going up all the palm trees and the hotel was pretty cool. Kind of gave it a hard rock feel.
The plan was to eat dinner here but after walking through a bellow of smoke at the entrance our plans changed pretty quickly. I know casinos are typically pretty smoky but this was the absolute most smokiest casino I’ve ever been in. It was so bad that there were people sitting at slot machines with surgical masks on (like that helped). We atleast wanted to check it out so kept walking and found a non smoking section. Finally we could breaf… did a little more exploring and then took off to grab dinner else where.
I’d stay the wkend at this place if the price was right at the hotel and maybe if there was a good show. Other than that, they really need to try to ventilate the casino a little better. Fyi — parking, valet, and main entrance is in the back if you find yourself driving like me looking for the entrance.
