POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR RESPONSE. If zero stars was an option, that’s what Fain would get. We called Tuesday explaining what our well repair problem is and what is needed to fix it (broken valve, but we can’t get the fittings off B/​C they’re on so tight). The gal said a guy would call us that day, or she would, with an ETA; nobody called so we did late p.m. and were told we’re scheduled for Wedn a.m., probably first stop. Late a.m. he showed up (we weren’t there) and said he was ordering flexhose and would be out next day (Thu) to install it. Nobody showed, nobody called with explanation, nothing, so we called late p.m. (I see the pattern, but hubby is taking my usual «glass is half full» approach.) This time lady insists he will be here by 8 a.m. Fri. It’s 9 o’clock now: no guy, no part, no response. Don’t waste your time contacting Fain, as you WILL be disappointed. :(
As of 9:30 Fri, Randy came and put in the flexhose, and warned that Sept 13, 2015 is when the world as we know it will end. :-|

Fain Drilling Company To Whom It May Concern, I am disputing this bill.(invoice 9468) I’ve had a long history of problems with the Fain well company which has continually cost me. I incurred a $ 2750 electric bill due to a malfunction of the well within a short period of it being installed. Fain Pump and well really didnt give a damn about the substantial mistakes made on the *original installation*. Those mistakes cost me a few thousand and all Randy said was … yes it’s our mistake, we used inferior pipe, however you have to absorb the expenses … Fine Christian attitude … Fain drill and pump came out to my ranch on different occasions, finally figuring out they had mixed up the piping ending with the replacement of all the original piping because due to inferior piping with cracks in it. Next, the motor failed. The job supervisor informed me this pump motor had a reputation as an inferior product, wearing out just a very short time *after* the warranty ended. The inferior products made the water in the pipeline boil (from the electricity) forcing air thru the bolts holding it into place. A new safer style of motor was available during the original installation, per the supervisor, he commented they were probably trying to get rid of the inventory of inferior motors knowing the company was in the process to be sold … Randy sold the company to his son after a business disagreement with between them. The job supervisor was very comfortable with informing me of the internal company negativity. Randy deciding to go do missionary work. Supervisor said Fain and company probably chose not to use the new improved motor and accessories then, intending to get the unreliable motors out of their inventory. He said Fain and company no longer use this product due to it’s inferior reputation. Fain and company charged me 8 hours labor while the men pretty much replaced a system that should never have been installed in the first place. Fain and Company seems more interested in making money over quality control and customer satisfaction … costing/​billing me for several thousands of dollars. So, we know the original installation was inferior and inadequate. They seem to think I should pay for their mistakes, informing me theydo not have to accept any responsibility in the mistakes. Wrong …It is not fair, nor professional, for Fain and company to expect me to bear the financial cost of their poor workmanship and use of admitted inferior materials. Come up with a more reasonable price and we will go from there. Please … Do not come onto my property for any reason without my permission or Fain and Company will have a discussion with the sheriff what NO trespassing means. All communications will be handled via email or mail. I do not recommend this company at all … especially under the so called new ownership. David Worthy
